The house is surrounded by a large garden with fruit trees and meadow. Trees provide shade in the heat. If you are looking for variety, you can reach Lübeck, Schwerin, Rostock in 1 hour and Hamburg in 1.5 hours via the A20. Travemünde or Boltenhagen can be reached via the Baltic Sea Cycle Route.

Very close to the house, the bike path runs towards Zingst (about 20 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach), Prerow or Barth.
