B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in a characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family, we have transformed the upper building into a B&B. In the 5-meter-high room, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports lessons in the gym, feel free to join in or go monkeying with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play in the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, there is a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it is without breakfast.

Let op: helaas mag u vanuit dit park niet naar werk reizen, want het is puur voor recreatie. Dit unieke huisje heeft een eigen stijl. Ingericht door binnenhuisarchitect René Kemper ademt dit huisje de warmte van een boshut, met prachtige details van natuurlijke materialen. De heerlijke veranda vergroot de leefruimte, en het uitzicht is uniek. Direct naast het huisje geeft het hekje toegang tot bos en heide van de Drentsche Aa, een magische sfeer. Ervaar de rust en charme van dit unieke plekje.

This colorful & chic 80 m² apartment is filled with vintage treasures, high ceilings, original details, a large kitchen island, and beautiful stained glass doors. You’ll be staying in a charming historic townhouse in the lively Schildersbuurt neighborhood, just a short walk from Groningen’s city center, great restaurants, and the Noorderplantsoen park right around the corner.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Come and stay with the friendly hostess who will welcome you and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor hood. Also equipped with a refrigerator with freezer and oven/microwave. The cozy living room with rustic style has a 2 x 2 person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 each). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bicycle shed with power connection (charging e-Bike)

Guesthouse The Golden Island

Het Gouden Eiland is located in the annex of a beautiful city villa on the outskirts of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as Het Gouden Eiland, a villa neighborhood with houses built in the period 1910-1930. Het Gouden Eiland is in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seating, kitchen, shower with toilet, king-size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

Hunzedal Homestead

Hoeve Hunzedal is situated near many nature reserves, such as the Hunzedal, the Drentse Aa, and the Hondsrug (UNESCO), making it the perfect base for wonderful walking and cycling tours (free bicycle storage available). The accommodation features a private entrance, garden and parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped. Relax after an active day in the atmospheric, comfortable accommodation with, for example, a board game from the cupboard or a movie from the king-size bed.

Guest suite in Annerveenschekanaal, a rural apartment with a spacious bathroom in Drenthe. By the water and fishing spots, Sailing route to the Zuidlaardermeer. Located near Zuidlaren (8.1 km), a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Assen 18 km, Groningen 22 km (where you can enjoy great shopping). Including use of a rowboat/motorboat and a kayak. A BBQ can also be used. And for a fee, e-bikes are also available, with great cycling routes. With great amusement parks nearby

Modern wooden house by the lake.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at the brand new summer cottage. The cottage was completed in 2023 and has everything you need. Lovely bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a nice living room and beautiful nature. There is WiFi, TV, underfloor heating, modern kitchen and there are no less than 3 bedrooms. It is one of the most beautiful places on the lake with the particularly beautiful evening sun over the beautiful Paterswoldsemeer. It is a rare and quiet place.
