The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Johanna is a great hostess, we had a lot of traffic jams on arrival and were much later than planned, for Johanna this was not a problem, we reached her well and the check-in was made possible very flexibly for us. Johanna's cottage is furnished with a lot of love for detail and is immaculately clean. She took a lot of time to show and explain everything to us, we immediately felt at home. Johanna is always available, even if we didn't have to use this. The cottage has everything you need, if necessary you can also do laundry there. The beds are very comfortable, due to a local neighborhood (not a cottage settlement) we had it very quiet, the location is perfect for excursions in the region. The house has a large garden where our dog could move and let off steam freely. The checkout was great too! We enjoyed our time at Johanna's place very much and will definitely return!

Ralf's house, which is detached and available to guests for their own use, is very nice. It offers plenty of space and even has a covered outdoor area that can also be used in the rain. The technical equipment is consistently great, if we had any questions Ralf was very easy to reach and not only answered quickly, but even accommodated a special request from me. We were there over New Year's Eve in the hope that our dog would have more peace before New Year's Eve fireworks. There were shots, but not to the extent that you are otherwise used to. Emden is a pretty town and even has a small beautiful sandy beach, which can be reached on foot from Café Strandlust (free parking) in about 10 minutes. The pretty towns of Leer and Aurich are nearby, and the idyllic showcase town of Greetsiel is also easily accessible. We highly recommend Ralf's house and thank you for the lovely stay!

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week in the "Old Painters House." Upon arrival it becomes clear: The location is an absolute dream. Quietly located, right on the water and away from the small country road, great for switching off. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. We especially liked the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns - right from bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small jetty to the Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. Although the nearest rolls are a bit far away, they are of the highest quality. Conclusion: A wonderful vacation home with a very special atmosphere, surrounded by a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

Perfectly spacious house with beautiful garden in a beautiful location. Everything is present and Stan and Nicole we also do everything we can to make you feel at home. In low and for season a beautiful and quiet place on the island. Everything within walking distance ... Recommended!

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. What can I say: Our stay was absolutely great! The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and really a place to feel good. The furnishings are great, very cozy and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. It was wonderfully quiet, perfect for a relaxing time. We were particularly impressed by how helpful and friendly the hosts were – we were helped incredibly quickly with any concerns. All in all: a fantastic place with great hosts – we'd love to come back!
