Rental of boat and fishing license is purchased in the restaurant at the rest area by the lake. 3 km from the house is Borås golf club. You also have the proximity to central Borås which is easily reached by car in about 5 minutes. In Sweden you can hike freely in the forest and nature but do not go into private plots.

The farm, which is from the 1880s, is located about 20 km from Borås, and 7 km to the nearest community with larger ICA store.
