The rice pits in Åre municipality is a paradise both in summer and winter. Bright and nice summer evenings around the fireplace, snowmobile and winter activities in winter. Kallsjön is just outside the living room window, with the possibility of fishing. Hunting terrain in the hills and mountains around. Stunning views out to the sea and Åreskutan. 12 km to Järpen city centre. Possibility of cross country skiing in a light slope, swimming pool and Curlinghall. 19 km to Huså, 30 km to Åre/Bjørnen, which is known for its downhill slopes.

The starting point is great for tours on the mountains around, no matter the season. You are never far to ski tours, alpine skiing, hiking, biking, paddling or fishing. By car, you can get to Edsåsdalen in 5 minutes and Trillevallen in 10 minutes. It takes 20 minutes to Åre and Vålådalen can be reached in 30 minutes.
