Our stay with Sally and Romo was absolutely magical! Their cottage is impeccable - exactly as pictured, cozy and welcoming. Walking in to find freshly baked bread, homemade cookies and cakes was just the beginning. What makes this place extraordinary are Sally and Romo themselves. Their genuine warmth, joy and desire to connect made us feel like longtime friends rather than guests. Romo's personal tour of nearby towns and pubs was a highlight, as was the enchanting riverfront on their property. Our dogs had the time of their lives exploring the fields and meeting farm animals. The entire experience was filled with thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality. Our only regret? Not staying longer! We left with treats, memories, and new friends. Without doubt, this was our best Airbnb experience ever - we're already planning our return! Sally and Romo aren't just hosts, they're the epitome of hospitality and human connection.

We had a great time at Glenn's. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of nights and starting the mornings with a sauna and plunge was perfect. Sunset fire was a treat, as was learning more about the historic property. Glenn and Trudie were lovely, friendly hosts, as were the dogs with our one. Added bonus was the quick drive into Morpeth, a cute town with nice wine bar / cellar door.

A beautiful comfortable home. Having the upstairs living area meant that kids could hang out seperate to the adults making our big group trip less overwhelming lol.

Our kids were fascinated by the unique décor, and we found ourselves admiring everything from vintage portraits to intricate wooden furniture. It felt like stepping into a living museum, but with all the modern comforts you could ask for. The hosts have done a phenomenal job blending old-world charm with warmth and functionality. It was more than just a place to stay, it was an experience. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay that’s not only beautiful but unforgettable.
