Cottage vacation rentals in Bollenstreek

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Jokelien and her partner were kind, thoughtful, and enjoyable hosts. The house is situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, they anticipated many things we didn't even know that we needed. The property was charming, clean, and wonderfully located. They had recommendations which made our visit smooth, comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

We found a lovingly designed, in every way very well-equipped house. Everything was like described and as pictured. The house is quietly located very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost every day. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

We loved Claudia’s place! It far exceeded all our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures suggest. An incredibly beautiful area so close to the waterfront from some gorgeous sunsets. 15 mins walk from the small village with an excellent small Spar supermarket and takeaway but very peaceful too. Also excellent cafes/restaurants a short cycle away and Claudia kindly let us use all her bikes. Impeccably clean, really comfortable beds. Brilliant hot tub and super fun area downstairs perfect for teens! It could not have been any better for our short stay in the amazing Netherlands. Wonderful!

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Everything was as described, the amenities were great. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very good internet. Since we were only there one night, we can't say much about the location. We would come back for a longer stay. :)

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

The place is really perfectly central to the stand and to the center. The communication also worked great and we were very satisfied with everything and spent a nice week there:) The place completely corresponds to the description !

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

Everything was as described - we felt very comfortable. The dog had a designated area in the garden and could run around freely. The hosts were always available and responded immediately to inquiries. Would highly recommend!

We did a girls' tour and felt very comfortable in the house. Everything you need is there. The house is very nicely decorated and everything was super clean. The terrace with adjoining large meadow where our dog was allowed to romp was also great. Michiel and his wife are super nice hosts. We will be happy to come back!😊

a hidden gem. beautifully located and very nice for hiking, cycling and fishing there. Frederica was very helpful. You really relax here.

Super friendly and attentive hostess with a very unique cottage.

We stayed in Esther's cozy cottage for 6 nights. We particularly liked the cleanliness and the quality of the beds. We also didn't miss anything in terms of amenities. Esther was very friendly, always easy to reach and responded to our questions and requests at any time. Thank you again, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and maybe see you again soon! :)

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

It is even more fun than in the pictures, soda and bubbles in the fridge, everything has been thought of. Hand soap, tea, herbs etc. Friendly hostess, with the necessary tips. Lovely seating on the veranda, with blankets. Nice shower, plenty of towels, bathrobes. Fully equipped kitchen. Worth repeating!

We stayed with Ben for two weeks in connection with our renovation and we enjoyed it! Despite the renovation crowds, it felt like a mini vacation. Our 2.5-year-old son was able to play in the garden and everything was present in the house for a carefree stay. Ben's hospitality was fantastic and we felt at home straight away. Thank you!

Nice, complete house. Nice outside space. if weather is nice really enjoyable to sit outside. A quiet 'park' on which the chalet is situated. Kids can play outside, the access road to the chalet can only be reached by foot. Kitchen well equipped. Sufficient bedlinen, towels etc. Good dishwasher and washing machine. Marion responds quickly and accommodates where she can. All in all a nice place and a good starting point to see rural North Holland with close proximity to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. And to sea/beach/dunes/forest!

Jolanda’s place is located on the edge of a nature reserve. So long walks along the river are a must with some very unusual birds to be seen and heard. If you have a car, you have easy access to Motorways, you can also hire bikes from Jolanda and quiet rides into the neighbouring towns are within 30 mins. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and the hosts are friendly and were great for suggestions of where to go and what to do. Hope to visit again sometime.

We felt comfortable and very welcome at Marjo's from the first second. Marjo was a friendly hostess who was always concerned about our well-being. Absolute recommendation if you need to relax a little. We will be happy to come back! 😊
