Greenacres Holiday Cottage Middleton by Wirksworth

ZoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely family stay at Green Acres. The location provides a wonderful base for exploring the local area, there are lots of cycling and walking routes on your doorstep. The High Peaks Trail is literally at the end of the garden and definitely worth exploring. The hosts were very welcoming and were on hand to answer any questions. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

The Old Garden Room- A peaceful space to unwind in

Lovely, peaceful location with walks in the Derbyshire Dales on the doorstep. Great English and Continental breakfast that set us up for the day. Useful recommendations from Hil for local places to eat. Would stay again and recommend.

Such a special beautiful place with a lovely host who added lots of nice touches. The garden with the day bed and view of the hills and village was stunning and smart projector in the bedroom was unique to any air bnb I’ve stayed in and felt like such a treat. Can’t recommend this place enough, would love to stay again.

We had a great weekend exploring Wirksworth and the surrounding countryside. We particularly enjoyed the Saturday morning market, long walks and music at the Featherstone. The cottage was beautifully renovated with lots of classy and quirky touches. We both slept well which is not like us! Thank you Shelley

Eight The Green: a cosy Derbyshire cottage for two

RobinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Terrific house. Everything you could ask for and more. Great location in a village. In the heart of cycling and walking trails. Would love to return. Lovely touch leaving a bottle of vino and a personal greeting in the blackboard! The cottage has been remarkably well renovated and is basically all new. But with fab character…

Grade II Listed Mill Cottage

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Eli was a great host and very friendly and responsive. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The local village shop and two pubs are in walking distance of the cottage. We loved Scarthin Books, which is definitely worth a visit. Great fish and chips at the little marketplace chippy too! Good transport links (buses and a train station) within walking distance. Such a brilliant property. We will definitely be returning.

Coach House apartment in popular historic town

Bronwen is an amazing host: hospitable, quick to respond, flexible, and accomodating! The flat is beautifully organized, clean, and stocked with all necessary provisions for an extended stay and a wonderful experience. Like a dream cottage, it is a four-star experience in a quintessential small English town that a lot of foreign visitors especially Americans like me will find cozy, comfortable, and enchanting.
