we all loved this rental both in terms of space and decoration the pool is large (very beautiful liner in addition) dedicated spaces (bowling alley, outdoor area to rest and play) we benefited to our greatest delight from the songs of the different birds The interior of the house allows everyone to move around without jostling, in addition to being airy, it is tastefully decorated The equipment allows you to arrive "hands in your pockets" The owner is warm and responsive In conclusion, great cottage

What a beautiful garden! And the pool was much appreciated, in these beautiful days. The whole is atypical: the bedrooms (2 out of 3 are equipped with bathroom and toilet), the living room, the kitchen-dining room are in three different places (but very close to each other). So it's not a house, strictly speaking, but a set of places, all extremely pleasant. If you had to find a fault: one of the three bedrooms, intended for children, does not have a bathroom. It might bother some people, but not us. Another pleasant point: a petanque court, and many small details that show that the hosts pay great attention to visitors.

We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

Awesome character home on the vineyard. matches the photos perfectly, great access to the vineyard grounds where you can see chickens, horses and sheep as you walk around. Perfect for walking into town or day trips to Montpellier & Nimes. Ticked all the boxes for us.

Every morning, waking up to this magnificent panorama was pure happiness🌄. Calm, nature, fresh air… you feel completely refreshed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought out for the well-being of guests🙏. Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Pierre is a very friendly and accommodating host, additional instructions were given by message a few days before the start of the arrival with a courteous call. Attentive host, very clear explanations and recommendations for nearby shops, I also recommend the very functional accommodation, very nice swimming pool with a friendly barbecue area, as well as a football field and petanque that delighted the guests, Thanks again!

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.
