The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 ha of meadow, 1 ha of forest, a place for retreat, for family holidays, for "Simply Being in Hollenstein." Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag cycle path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house if the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

This is a breathtaking place for people who really want peace and nature, far away from everything else. Meadow, forest, fresh air and mountains. Here there are deer, chickens, cats and bees. The apartment is on a farm, alone in the middle of a large clearing, which I am building as an organic farm with permaculture. It consists of a huge room with wooden floor, new wood-burning stove and mountain views, as well as a bathroom, and a kitchen.

"Vacation at the mini pony farm" Organic farm, quiet location

The apartment is located in beautiful countryside and very quiet. The landlord and his family are extremely friendly, accommodating and helped us easily with questions and small concerns. The apartment has everything you need for a few days away. Because we cooked a lot, the small dishwasher was great for us. Hiking and walking trails go straight from the neighborhood Excursions can be made to the Basilica on the Sunday mountain (fantastic Rubdumblick) or to Waidhofen an der Ybbs. We enjoyed it very much and we can absolutely recommend the accommodation for families and peace seekers!

The accommodation was great and Johanna was very friendly and accommodating (she gave us wine glasses and sparkling glasses for New Year's Eve and great excursion tips). We felt very much at home in the apartment. The location is quite quiet, with beautiful views of the Sunday mountain and the kitchen of the apartment is well equipped. All in all a great stay. We highly recommend it!

Such a beautiful old house! We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and escape the everyday chaos. The upstairs bedroom with glass ceiling is something we didn’t really see in the photos but were pleasantly surprised by. We also loved the sauna and the hot tub. Location is perfect for people who love nature and animals - we even became friends with 2 very sweet cats that occasionally came by. Also, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again! 😊

Everything was as described, there was nothing missing. Quiet location in beautiful nature. Communication with Jenny was impeccable. I would be happy to come back.

We were only there for one night to pass through. In retrospect, it would certainly have been worth staying a little longer. The accommodation was absolutely great, everything as described and what we saw in the short time of Waidhofen also made us want more! :)
