Quiet, quaint room in Victorian Town House

My week at Sandra’s place was perfect! I didn’t know what to expect in the neighbourhood but I loved the surroundings and the vibes of the Flatbush area. Sandra and her family are very polite and welcoming, people with great energy. I had my private place to work remotely, which was quiet and peaceful. I was able to cook my meals and use the kitchen, which was ideal to keep myself on my diet. There’s a gym nearby that accepts temporary plans with no contracts (and the owner is super friendly as well). There’s also a big park a few blocks away. There are other guest rooms in the floor but honestly I did not see much of the other guest and had no problems sharing the same bathroom. The laundry place is right by the corner of the street and I was able to do my laundry easily. I will always have good memories of my stay in Brooklyn and I expect to come back to Sandra’s place in the future some day. I can only appreciate her hospitality and the kindness of the people from the region.

Risha’s place was great for our long weekend in Brooklyn visiting family. Risha and Josef were very friendly and helpful hosts. It’s a cozy space with the only sitting area being at the kitchen table, but that was fine as we came to NY to explore. The bed is comfy, and the view of the back courtyard is pleasant. Bathing in the clawfoot tub in the kitchen, rather than a typical shower made for a unique experience. Red Hook is an interesting neighborhood with a number of restaurants and breweries and easy access to Manhattan via the ferry. The Food Bazaar store is an easy walk if you need groceries and they have everything!

room in sunny, charming, vintage style apartment

Juliette was, by far, the best host I’ve had on Airbnb (and I have stayed in a LOT) of different places. Juliette has a beautiful and immaculately decorated Brooklyn apartment just steps away from the Carroll St. subway station. She was an engaging, friendly host with tons of recommendations and knowledge of the local area. Juliette is the kind of “spontaneous friend” you’d want to stay in touch with. As a host, Juliette went above and beyond to make sure I had everything that I needed. 15/10 I would recommend staying here again and hope to book Juliette’s place the next time I visit New York City.

Super Convenient Park Slope Room (subway - 2 min.)

I feel so lucky to find Andrew/Adriana’s for my stay in Brooklyn! Hosts are very responsive and I really loved the room. It is spacious, cozy and even more well decorated than pictures. Many things that guests (might) need are there and you’d notice right away how experienced and considerate the hosts are! Adriana is so knowledgeable about the neighborhood and I wish I had more time to explore options in the guidebook. It is not right next to tourist places but I loved the chance to look around the neighborhood and there are a lot of good places in walkable distance. And if you are using public transportation, it is so close from station and easy to find! If you have too many late night schedules, then it might not be the best place as the neighborhood is pretty quite but for that reason it was the best place to take quiet rest when you come back from schedule. Highly recommend for those looking for cozy space in this area! Thanks so much Adriana/Andrew:)

Kathleen was so nice and kind it was really lovely staying at her place for almost two weeks! It was actually my first time staying at someone’s Airbnb for that long and since I was traveling solo in New York, I was a bit worried at first. But there was absolutely nothing to worry about! The neighborhood is very safe I even got home around 12:30 am on a weekend and everything was perfectly fine. I also went to the laundromat around 10 pm a few times, and I always felt so safe I’d definitely recommend this place! The only small inconvenience was that there’s no elevator. I stayed on the third floor, and the staircase is quite narrow, so carrying my 31kg luggage was a bit of a struggle. It can also get a little warm in the summer since the AC isn’t super strong But overall, it was a wonderful stay and I really appreciated everything. Thank you, Kathleen

This is truly a Brooklyn experience that should not be missed. Anna’s apartment is located in a brownstone in one of Brooklyn’s best area, quiet and residential although very close to many restaurants just steps away. Her apartment is one of the best AirBnBs I have ever been to. The space is immaculate, luxe, and very comfortable. Although I did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked and clean. I messaged Anna several times and she responded right away. Subways are few blocks away with easy access to Manhattan. A true gem. Should not be missed!
