From the moment we arrived, this home swept us off our feet! This place is truly magical. Handcrafted from local sources (timber, coconuts, shells, stone), every detail reflects respect for the environment. The house is cozy, peaceful, & rustic, w/a funky edge. My favorite area was the patio, which opened up to the rainforest, teeming w/birds & flowers. I loved watching monkeys in the trees & listening to the waves. Next to the home is the owners' incredible restaurant, Arboloco, a local favorite. The restaurant has a chill jungle vibe (delicious Afro-Caribbean food) & is open Wed-Sat. Despite the nearby dining, privacy was never an issue. The path to our Airbnb was clearly separated, maintaining a secluded experience. The location is serene & is a 10-minute drive from Bocas Town. This Airbnb isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience… an artistic retreat. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect blend of nature, privacy, & local culture.

This place was simply amazing! The house is right on the beach, water is clear, very shallow. Perfect for families! The host is very responsive, caretakers were friendly. Cappuccinos next door are fantastic! The kitchen here is gorgeous; well stocked and has seating for 14 people. I honestly think this is the best place on the whole island. I couldn’t be happier with this rental and I will bring my family back soon!

Phillipe is a great host! Interesting and caring welcoming. We spent two days with two exceptional evenings full of sharing and anecdotes. About the property A nice room with a shower toilet and a fan that has the power of a plane. It's a mess! However, Construction allows you to ventilate all night without having to use the one . The kitchen area share is clean functional large fridge cooking utensils 👌 El drago beach is about 30 minutes walk 🦶 however for the less sporty a shuttle will stop in front of the door every 30/45 min. And in 5 minutes you're there. Counting $2.50 per person to get there from colon by mini bus they accept suitcases🧳. Thanks again Philippe! I'm waiting for the photo for the BBQ name 🍗 😉

The 2nd floor was very hot and long to cool in the evening despite the air conditioning. It was pretty wet, too. You should know that there is a space between the wall and the ceiling, which allows moisture, heat, and insects to pass through. I also wish there was a guard by the stairs to avoid falling there. The beds are comfortable. The futon is very firm, but suitable for a child. I wish I had a few more pillows. The terrace is cozy with its hammock. The outdoor table could be changed by removing the boards that prevent our knees from approaching. The fridge was spacious and very cold. The gas oven was working great. The toaster oven was functional but rather long to toast. The bathroom was adequate. There were ample towels for our stay. Host Daniele was always very quick to respond to our requests. A problem with the hot water was resolved very quickly despite it being a Sunday.

Swim from the dock, or walk 20 minutes to Hospital Point for some great snorkeling on a coral reef with lots of colourful fish. The trail is very muddy ( at least when we were there in February), but well worth the shoe- wash!

Amazing place, just nature around. There is almost no cellular connection there, if you have a claro sim card then you are not going to have any internet. I would not rely on the wifi

This place was amazing, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in 10 meters away from the beach, hosts were always responsive and very helpful it is paradise.

Jungle Paunch Cabins was EXACTLy what I was looking for . Nestled in the jungle . Short walk down to road to hail cabs . Beautiful ocean on the road . Couple of walkable restaurants . Monkeys in the trees . Jungle sounds at night . Best sleep ever . Coming home at night magical and safe . Jane is beyond personable . Max welcoming and friendly with a fabulous smile . Great well seasoned widely traveled couple who built their dream . So happy they share it with us visitors .

It feels like a treehouse in the jungle with the sounds of the wildlife and ocean waves in the background. Gloria’s house is not only beautiful but a very peaceful place to stay, incredibly relaxing. There is a bar on the beach and a few restaurants nearby, definitely recommend The Hummingbird for food. There are also two good swimming spots that you can get to after a walk through the jungle and along the beach; La Piscina and the Blue Lagoon. Maybe take a picnic and make an afternoon of it? The house is about 20 minutes from town so it’s a good idea to get some supplies when you first arrive before heading there. Gloria was a great host and Will, the chap who takes care of the house, was also great and they both speak Spanish and English. You’ll be in good hands here. Best of all, how wonderful to wake up in the morning and discover that you are having breakfast with monkeys, eating bananas from a tree right next to you. This is a special place that I shall not forget.

This was a great place to get the jungle experience with the beach also being close. The setting is very peaceful, surrounded by nature. I saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, armadillos in the immediate area. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and responsive. The area is gorgeous! I had a great vacation!
