The list of wonderful things to share is so long, let us start with the top three: the bed, the bathtubs, and the courtyard. After our walk each day we relaxed in the courtyard, listening to the bumblebees buzzing in and out of the fragrant honeysuckle. The bathtubs are even more delightful than the pictures would lead you to believe (the mural!), and we slept like babies after our evening soak in the luxurious bed. Peony Cottage had all the amenities we needed and the decor was so cozy and inviting it was hard to leave. The location is ideal. You are steps from High Street and all the shops and restaurants, the train station, and walking paths to explore the natural beauty of the Cotswolds. We can't recommend Peony Cottage enough!

The setting next to the stream and the home itself were wonderful. We loved it and it was perfect for our family of 6. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing by the stream. Blockley is a delightful town and we enjoyed exploring it and walking the areas around it. We would stay here again! Two things to note: the washer isn’t really operable which was a bummer since we were counting on it. After unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times it did start but none of the lights worked so we weren’t sure what setting it was on. It also didn’t spin at the end so we had to wring out the clothes in the sink. Not a problem if you aren’t counting on it, disappointing if you are. The second thing is that there were six of us and the hot water ran out after two showers. We had to wait an hour+ to finish our showers. Maybe just take quick ones or plan to spread them out. Other than these two things we loved our stay at Badger’s Den!

Had an amazing stay at Nicks place, the village itself blockley is beautiful and the cottage is directly in the centre of the village, perfect for walking round town. The village itself is quiet but has a couple of pubs, a cafe , shop and local park, which is enough , bear in mind most other villages and towns are a drive away ! The cottage itself was amazing and the pictures don’t really do the views justice. The bedrooms were amazing, specially the top one! The lounge is a little small but we were expecting that as it is a cottage! The kitchen was really really nice and was a good space to cook for plenty of people, it just maybe could have been a little more equipped although it was certainly enough time to get by! Also bare in mind if you are old or less able it may not be suitable for you due to steep stairs and very very steep stairs to the garden, however overall I would 100 percent recommend to anyone else! Nick was a great host and overall our stay was fantastic

Beautiful stay with everything we needed. The stone cottage was charming inside and out. Big enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably.
