At the Hirtenturm, built in 1397, on the source of the Ahr

Immerse yourself in the Middle Ages. This house was first mentioned in 1397, making it the oldest house in Blankenheim. This house is located right next to the Hirtenturm, only 3.5 meters wide at the front, in an alley below the Blankenheim Castle. At the back, with a width of around 12 meters, the building is not located on the Ahr, but on the Ahr spring that rises below the cellar. At night it is absolutely quiet, with the windows open you can hear the splashing of the Ahr spring.

The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a refuge for 4 people, redesigned with great care and attention to detail. Otherwise, 2 adults are always counted per room. It is located on our private farm right next to our own estate tavern and opposite our Rhöndorf inn. You can also rent e-bikes on request or taste our wines from the Weingut Haus im Turm in our estate tavern.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
