This home is so charming. You feel at home. The beds and furniture are clean and comfortable. Being on the river is so peaceful and refreshing. Irises were in full bloom adding to the beautiful Springtime surroundings. The host has provided such a thoughtful and gracious accommodation.

We had such a relaxing stay! Great place to unwind and disconnect. Host was very accommodating with check in and we greatly appreciated that.

We LOVED Stewie’s Getaway! Our long (2 month) stay really speaks to how well-appointed and comfortable Jonathan’s place is. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 as well as our dogs. From the extra pillows and towels to the stocked kitchen and ready-to-go hot tub, our stay was luxurious and comfortable from the first moment. In addition to the lovely and pristinely clean house, our host went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable, memorable and fun. He was unfailingly responsive with thoughtful suggestions for places to eat, things to do and even great spots to take in the natural beauty of hill country. The gourmet kitchen was a delight to cook meals in and the cozy seating out front offers an unbeatable view of absolutely next level sunsets. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious and luxurious retreat while exploring beautiful and charming hill country.

Courtney’s place is definitely a piece of heaven. She has lots of games for kids and families to enjoy. My family and I enjoyed the game room and played a little bit of everything from pool, to air hockey, to ping pong and I can’t forget pac man. The backyard is a nice hang out spot to relax and have some s’mores by the fire. If you like cooking, she has everything you need and more. The river access is perfect, we enjoyed some fishing and had a blast on the river listening to music and reconnecting. Wimberly Cafe is a nice brunch spot to go to and ranch brand winery and distillery is a nice hang out place as well. Over all, my family and I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back again!!

We loved staying at this beautiful private property. We were here for a wedding and needed a kid-friendly place. My kids adores the playground and my little girl loved the bunk bed. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the abundance of towels. Kathy was so helpful and informative leading up to our arrival and reached out several times. We had a great stay and can’t wait to return to Wimberley!

Growing up my family would rent a cabin in the Hill Country and I always wanted to give my kids the same experience. I definitely think this spot is a perfect place to return to and make memories. I’m so glad we found it! I can’t wait to come back! It’s super close to Pedernales but also an easy drive to Dripping Springs or Fredericksburg if you’re looking for dinner and drinks.

This was by far one of our favorite stays and was extremely enjoyable and refreshing. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the environment. The birds in the morning are a pleasant touch to enjoying coffee and breakfast in the morning. Debbie was very helpful and informative of what was available not only with the rental but also the restaurants, shops and activities/attractions. Will definitely be coming back in the near future! We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was way better than what we expected and much bigger than I thought. John and Sherri were amazing hosts and we would definitely come back and recommend it!

What Can I say other than AMAZING. This experience was like no other. When you walk inside you’re already in love with the whole theme and everything is just perfectly set up. You have everything you need, from the towels to all the extras provided in the kitchen. It all worked out even better than we expected. Myra is the best host, super accommodating and her main goal was to make sure we enjoyed every single moment. Thank you Myra! The animals were great with me and the kids, we fed them plenty of times, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. Perfect getaway for sure! Loved it !

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the hill country this is a great spot. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees and there were blue jays and red birds chirping as we enjoyed our morning coffee. 20 minutes to Wimberly and Dripping Springs. The bed was very comfy as well! Highly recommend.

I booked this cabin for my fiancés birthday. I was looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy nature, and feel far from the city and busy schedules. This place did not disappoint! We were able to spend quality time together while hanging out in the river or simply enjoying the ambience of the cabin and property. Bonus points for being pet friendly! I loved being able to include my Pebbles in our trip and adventures!
