their farm is so beautiful and the yellow house is no exception! beautiful and private guesthouse with a cozy farmhouse feel. the land is sprawling and full of nature and life. loved seeing the chickens and beagle greeting us!

Great place, awesome host, if you're a fly fisherman this is a prime spot. 1 minor (and I mean VERY minor) criticism is that I'd like to see the rate be a little lower. House is nice but there are some nicer houses in the area for less, just understand you're paying for the location. like I said, minor but something to keep in mind. Would I rent from this person again? Absolutely.

We had a sweet stay at Aunt Susie’s Gingerbread Chalet. The name alone had us smiling before we even arrived. The house was cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. It felt like the kind of place where board games are serious business and snacks just taste better. We were pleasantly surprised by the game room tucked away in the garage. Didn’t see that coming, but it ended up being one of our favorite hangout spots. Pool games got intense. Laughter was loud. Spirits were high. The house had everything we needed for a great family getaway near Raystown Lake. Our only tiny wish? Maybe one or two extra rolls of toilet paper. But honestly, that’s just us being picky. Everything else was great. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax, reconnect, and make memories. Aunt Susie, if you’re reading this, thanks for the warm welcome and the chalet of dreams!

We stayed at this charming old farmhouse for our nephew’s wedding and absolutely loved it! The home is full of character and beautifully maintained, with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable and easy. It was incredibly well-equipped—with everything from cookware and spices to coffee, tea, and even a few beers in the fridge (such a nice surprise!). The beds were super comfortable, and the entire property was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. We also enjoyed exploring nearby Canoe Creek State Park, which was just a short drive away and absolutely gorgeous. A wonderful stay in a special place—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had 8 people and 2 dogs and the house worked great for us. Fenced yard with dog door was wonderful. Large garage hangout was great as some of us get up early, some stay up late and it provided a place that did not bother anyone who was sleeping. David answered any questions we had promptly. Super good host.

The Guest House was a great place to stay. Very cozy, welcoming and plenty of room for us. Even though there was a garage out front the views out of the windows were of nature and it didn’t bother us at all.

The house is comfortable and cozy. Super clean! Safe neighborhood, great for walking. I will stay again💛

Great place to stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at this condo for an entire month, and I'm so glad I did - I really enjoyed my stay! It has lots of space, it's beautifully decorated, and it had everything I needed. I really couldn't have asked for more. I took full advantage of the condo amenities, including the gym, the pool, the spa, and the sauna, and it was all included! It's so amazingly peaceful there, and my dogs loved it too. I'll miss walking my dogs around the beautiful property with the occasional detour to explore the woods. Jacinda was so kind and helped me work through an Airbnb booking issue. She even stayed late at work just to ensure I got into the property! She really went above and beyond, and I couldn't be more grateful. This is a great place to stay!

Wonderful condo that perfectly met our needs! Description was accurate and they had way more extras than anticipated (coffee pods, sugar, toilet paper, etc.). Truly appreciate the great accommodations and very specific information about the location. Others in our group stayed in the same condos and it took us forever to find it with them!

Sherry’s place was exactly what was described in the listing and even better in person. Our family of four enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend here and enjoyed the golf course and Clubhouse Restaurant. We will be returning again soon. Make sure you give this place a try!

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

2 months here and an absolutely wonderful experience with a wonderful host. My team and I were here for business and we could not thank Jacinda more for welcoming us. She communicated well and made things super easy from start to finish. we didn't have any real issues. We felt right at home for all 60 days. Everything was clean and the property was in tip top shape. highly recommended if you are looking for a quality stay.

Awesome place, great stay right on the mountain, if doing Rock Da Knob, 40 walking steps from the start. Totally stay again, had what we needed.

Bill & Julie's place was everything that it was described to be. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook including most common spices, there was even a couple bottles of cold water in the refrigerator waiting for us when we arrived. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper. Most places we have stayed only supplied one roll of TP to get you started. I would recommend this place to friends and family and would come back again. Thank you Bill & Julie for sharing your great little retreat with us.

this is truly a great place to stay if in the area and looking . it is a beautiful home with all the amenities we could hope for . we were in town for the week on a job in Altoona and this was the perfect relaxing mtn when the job was done ea day. the property mgr is great as well- extremely helpful . thanks for the hospitality , I will def refer anyone traveling the area to give your place a stay

We loved staying at this Airbnb in Altoona. We were there for a weekend to attend a wedding and this location was central to all the places we needed to go. We were also able to bring our two pups, which was wonderful! We’d definitely stay here again.

Absolute Pleasure, have already rented again.

This is my second time staying here; I was excited to be back, knowing how much it felt like home. The unit was always quiet but active with neighbors. If there was an issue with something in the unit, Kathy and the guys were right there to fix it. I'm about to finish my 1 1/2 years out here in Pennsylvania and hope every unit I have through Airbnb is managed like this unit in Altonna.

I have traveled for work for well over 20 years, and this is the first time that I felt at home while not being home. The unit was clean, and the area was close to were I needed to go and where I wanted to be. When back intown I'll be back, I enjoyed it that much.
