Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Blackheath

Stephen’s listing is a gem of a place. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by absolutely stunning nature. The house is beautifully renovated and well appointed with timber flooring and plenty of natural light which lends itself to very relaxing and homely environment. The bedrooms were clean and freshly pressed linen and towels were provided. The kitchen was excellent equipped With basic items at our disposal such as tea, coffee, salt and oil which meant we didn’t have to make a last-minute run to the supermarket for these basic items. The garden at the back was beautiful and relaxing just to sit down with a cup of coffee to look at. There were no disturbing noises from neighbours and certainly no traffic noise. Stephen was prompt and courteous in his communication and a listing like this reminds us of what Airbnb used to be like when it first started all those years ago. I would highly recommend Stephen’s place to anyone wanting a homely place to stay in the Blue Mountains

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of The Blue Mountains. Very peaceful, light and well provisioned. Fabulous shower, proper kitchen, good WiFi - and the washer / drier was appreciated as we stayed for a month. Yishu was always prompt responding and checked in with us from time to time to see that everything was OK. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a blast at Foy’s Folly! The house is so spacious and peaceful, and the views are just lovely. We watched the stars at night and loved getting warm by the fireplace. Definitely want to come back! Thanks so much Melissa

This cabin was set in a beautiful location on the outskirts of town. There is plenty to do in Katoomba, but having a cosy cabin was the best place to recharge after exploring the Blue Mountains. The host was friendly and the house manual was jam-packed with valuable information about the property and surrounds. We were celebrating our anniversary but this listing would be suitable for a young family, with adventures to be had on and off the property.

One of my absolute favourite places to stay in Blackheath! I loved the fireplace and how lived in and homely it felt, the sound system was also fantastic. I was surrounded by stunning nature, plenty of birdlife including a very friendly kookaburra and even an evening visit from the local roo. I’ll be back for sure, thanks guys!

Wow! What a location…. What an apartment! It was exactly what we wanted and what was in the listing. Perfect location close to bars, cafes and restaurants. Just beware of the parking situation. It’s not a problem if you’re organised and flexible to utilise the free parking approx 5 minutes walk away. We just used temp parking for a short period to sort out gear for check-in and check out. We would highly recommend this listing. Made some beautiful memories in amazing Katoomba

Celebrating my 21st at Rose Lindsay Cottage was the perfect choice! Danny and Annette were amazing hosts, with a great attention to detail that made our stay so special. Great location and place was nice and clean

Great location, right on the main street. I was staying for work. It was ideal.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Anna's place. This lovely spot is situated within just minutes of walking distance to some incredible dining and bars. So quick and easy to wander off on foot to check out the local shops and cafes without any hassles. Anna had arranged ahead of time for our expectated arrival and had the heating and lights on ready and waiting for us! The texted instructions and fair lit up walkways was a spectacular sight on arrival. There were also so many small welcoming touches that made it just fabulous from the hand written note, to the fresh fruit biscuits, chocolates and flowers and essentials like English muffins and milk! The space is cozy and so well laid out and furnished with a very much at home vibe. We would absolutely stay again! Anna is a fabulously friendly and welcoming host and the place is so cozy and cared for!

Medlow Bath is a fantastic, peaceful location near to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Denise was a wonderful host and provided us with many recommendations for the area. The space was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location surrounded by many restaurants and cafes a short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is very comfortable with all the mod cons and tastefully decorated. Our favourite aspect of the apartment was the log fire heater and the heated bathroom floors. Also the main bedroom was very private and quiet from the rest of the apartment. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

We cant wait to go back. Even if the weather didn’t help, the house made our holidays unforgettable. Super clean and well organised

The property was absolutely immaculate and worth the financial investment for our stay. No expense has been spared in the property and the attention to the smallest detail made a huge difference. There was nothing lacking in the property. We will be back for sure!

We had an amazing weekend at Dadirri Retreat. Simon was a fantastic host, very accomodating and responsive. The house is absolutely gorgeous wth three separate pavilions, one with the kitchen and lounge/dining areas with spectacular views, one which is a master suite with an amazing huge bathtub looking out over the trees, and the third is adjacent to the pool, with a bedroom, large bathroom and the sauna, by far the best sauna I have seen in an Airbnb. Although the weather was patchy, time in the sauna followed by a dip in the mineral pool was a lovely way to spend the day in total quiet and privacy. There are lots of great outdoor spots for relaxing and the kitchen is very well equipped including a new Nespresso machine. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, fluffy robes and Leif products in the shower. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, we will be back. Thanks Simon!

We had a wonderful time at Mimosa House. Such a beautiful house, beautifully decorated. We would have liked to have spent more time to relax in the house and garden - so would love to come back again.

Absolutely stunning and quite possibly the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. This place has been so exquisitely put together with not an expense spared on the design and functionality. Underfloor heating in the cold winter conditions made the whole place feel so cosy and warm. The furniture and finishings were clean and carefully chosen. Everything has been thought of! The kitchen is amazing with everything you’d need and high end appliances. It flows seamlessly into the large living and dining area. We’re already looking at when to book next!
