Well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to the Stavtjørn area. Very nice and service minded hosts. The place is great and has lots of room for guests. A good collection of table-top games and dvd's as well. Thanks for a great stay :)

Modern and cozy Mountain Cabin in Vikeså

We were in the breathtaking mountain cabin with lake view of the Stavtjørna from the beginning of April. Let's start with the accommodation itself: Everything was clean and the complete package was fully equipped. It is lovingly and comfortably furnished, so we felt right at home. The surroundings are also impressive. The view from the kitchen window and the terrace is a game of lake and mountains in the background. A recommendation from us - a short walk around the lake is definitely worth it. There is also a ski lift within sight. The surroundings were very quiet, which was perfect for our family vacation - but we were rather out of season. We wanted to see Norway as a country and we could not have seen it better through this place. Absolute recommendation - Linda is a first-class hostess and her cottage is a pearl in nature.

A lovely place! The decor of the cottage is neat and complete. The surroundings are wonderful! From the cottage you can easily walk in the area and by car to Preikestolen is also easy to do. Groceries just a good half an hour in Vikeså.

Helene’s cabin was awesome, super cozy and pretty, very clean; it was all that we needed! Mind that there’s no bedsheets and towels and you need to bring your own, which I almost overlooked (my bad ofc, just wish it was highlighted more in the description!), but nevertheless, we managed and had a great stay. Helene was responsive, helpful and left us a note with recommendations, which was supernice :)

We had a fantastic stay at Anne Kristine's. The tranquility and seclusion ensured absolute relaxation. Despite the remoteness, the farm was an excellent starting point for various day trips to breathtaking sights. The apartment itself was cozy, well equipped and offered a magnificent view of the surrounding nature. We highly appreciated the hospitality of the owners and can highly recommend this place.

Cozy family cottage on Stavtjørn

The cabin is idyllic both in terms of the building and surrounding area. It is a very peaceful location surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains and I enjoyed many wonderful walks. Mette the host was extremely helpful and attentive to any questions or needs that I had. The cabin was super well equipped with everything one would expect and I had plenty of extra toilet paper, soap, cleaning materials and importantly lots of dry firewood for the cosy log burner. The cabin was very warm with central heating, log burner and electric heater options. It was great to enjoy two full months of peace in nature in Norway and I would love to go back in the future if I have the chance. I would recommend without hesitation.

Harald's home is a real pearl. The cabin's amenities have everything you need for a perfect stay. We felt right at home. The nearby lake was a dream to be in. We had it practically to ourselves. Our children were allowed to rent Harald's SUPs, which was very great and generous. We will be happy to come back!

I rented a house for our wind turbine technicians. The house was clean and well maintained. The technicians had everything they needed for everyday life. The guys were happy with their stay. Elisabeth & Roy very nice people, communication was always very friendly and pleasant.

We celebrated Christmas in Stavanger with both children and grandchildren. The townhouse in nice surroundings was fully equipped, tidy, clean and worked absolutely perfectly for what we needed. The descriptions were correct, check in easy, the landlord nice and responded quickly if needed. Parking (with access to electric car charger) in separate parking basement was an absolute plus. Walking distance to the city center minimized the use of a car. Nice hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend the place.

Our stay at Henny Karin's house was delightful. Located near Kongeparken, the house had a classic charm with antiques that took my wife and me back to our childhood. Items like the DVD player, cassettes, and furniture added to the nostalgic feel. Henny Karin has curated these memories beautifully, reminding us of the importance of staying grounded. My daughter enjoyed the sketches, sharing a similar interest in music and art, while our little one was happily occupied with the toys. I would love to stay here again on our next visit to Stavanger or Kristiansand.

When I was about to leave, I asked her where I could throw the garbage, she told me to leave it there, that her husband would come down to throw it away, since they lived right above the apartment. Very happy with your apartment and your attention.

Finally, Christian was particularly responsive to our questions and accommodating to leave our luggage on the day of our departure. We recommend it 100%!
