We had the most wonderful time at Jubilee Lodge – a real gem! The lodge itself is beautifully light, airy, and impeccably comfortable, with every little detail thought of to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. As a family of five, we felt completely at home. Cheryl was the perfect host – warm, welcoming, and full of fantastic local suggestions. Her kindness really made our experience even more special. The absolute highlight for us was the hot tub – soaking before and after a day exploring was pure bliss. And the view… just breathtaking! Acres of rolling landscape as far as the eye can see – a rare and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Jubilee Lodge is a special place that we feel so lucky to have found. We’ll definitely be back – thank you, Cheryl, for a truly memorable stay!

Very responsive host, beautiful interior & excellent use of space! However, the road noise could be disturbing at times. Fortunate to have good weather which enabled us to make use of the fire pit & wood supply to stargaze & watch the sun go down after a long day exploring the local area! Bed was amazing & keen to know what duvet is used! We did take a large breed dog which wasn’t advisable by the host due to space but found she had enough room to sleep & loved the outdoor space provided!! Thank you so much for accommodating us Michelle it was a beautiful weekend! Would definitely want to visit again!

A 10 star Air BnB - everything was simply outstanding; from the delicate pink roses on the garden fence outside the front door, beautifully appointed fittings and furnishings, super comfy bed, great shower, lovely kitchen with everything one could need and more but also really thoughtful touches, like a home-made cream tea and flowers on arrival, coffee and tea, to the added bonuses of lovely hand soap, fluffy towels, bread, butter and eggs. This - and all set within the grounds of such a beautiful house and garden and *quiet*, quite honestly the best stay away and we’d love to come back! THANKYOU so so much, Sharron it was simply *wonderful* and we were made to feel so very welcome by you, and all the love and effort you’ve put into making it such a special place for others to enjoy was not unnoticed nor unappreciated. I stayed at Bethanys air bnb for one night as I was working in the area. Check is made very easy with a lockbox and clear instructions from Bethany. The space is wonderful and so well designed. it feels really comfortable and very practical. The kitched is well stocked with everything you would need to cook a decent meal. Everything was spotless and well looked after. It's clear that a lot of thought and care has been put into this air bnb. Even though it's part of their home, it's on a different level so it feels very private. It's a shame I visited for a work trip and I would have loved to have explored the local area more (which is GORGEOUS). The location is fantastic too. The bed is wonderful, it's so comfy and I slept so well in it. I stay in a lot of air bnbs and this one is up there! I would 100% recommend! Thank you Bethany!! 😊

What a fantastic discovery! We had to book last minute because our original accommodation fell through on the morning of our departure. After searching on Airbnb, we found this property, and we couldn't believe our luck! The hosts were so quick to respond to our request to book and incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early at no extra cost and even offering to pick us up from the station. The house is stunning—tastefully decorated, fresh, and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the place was spotless, and the quality of the furnishings and accessories was top-notch. We will be back, and we cannot wait! Don’t hesitate to book this place! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely property !

This worked out really well following a booking that was cancelled, close to our travel date, by a holiday cottage company. Though the street is a main road, the flat is in a very peaceful lane behind with well kept gardens. All went well. My dad and brother stayed and had a very comfortable, peaceful night.

A beautiful home, with the most wonderful vista's. We were treated to a wonderful tour of the farm by Peter. The children loved going on the trailer sitting on haybaills...childhood memories in the making. Such lovely kind hosts in terms of making us feel very welcome on arrival and nothing being too much trouble. We were told to move anything we needed to protect the toddlers and offered play mats/stairgates etc to use to keep them safe. Some lovely touches in terms of bread, eggs, water, snacks and scrumptious cider for our arrival. Bathrooms scented with nice diffusers and nice eco handwashes. Fantastic loft in Shaldon—just as described! Clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful with several beaches, pubs, and restaurants all within walking distance. We loved the £2 ferry to Teignmouth and also walked it one evening (just 25 mins). Enjoyed live music at Teignmouth Back Beach—such a great vibe. The car park near The Ness is good value and convenient. We booked a last-minute 2-night stay and had the best weekend. The Shaldon Zoo is also worth a visit. Would definitely come back!
