Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bishops Cleeve

We were 7 adults attending my nieces wedding at Sudeley Castle, which is very beautiful. Phil’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end. He even told me the name of a lovely local hairdresser Vickie, that came to house to give me a blow dry on the day. We very much enjoyed the location, a nice walk to curry from Wincombe restaurant, delicious, and the local pub a few doors up. We also enjoyed drinks and a grazing board with the wedding party at The Lion on the Sunday, again great food. The house was spacious enough for us all, tastefully decorated, very clean and we all slept well. We also enjoyed the pretty garden, very relaxing! We all very much enjoyed the Cotswolds, thank you !

What a beautiful place to stay for a few days in the Cotswolds. We loved every detail. It was nice to be in a quieter town rather than right in the middle of the touristy areas. The house was so stunning and a cute place to gather on holiday with my parents. The only thing to note is that the stairs are steep, so my elderly father had a little bit of a hard time getting up and down but it was no problem, just something to consider! Thanks so much, we had a wonderful time.

What can I say about this wonderfully quaint and quirky cottage that hasn't already been written? Probably nothing, but once you've picked your jaw up off the floor it's impossible to not be totally besotted by this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the pictures really don't do it justice. Our initial exploration of the spotless interior was way beyond our expectations, it's simply stunning and is the perfect blend of old and new. Everything we needed was provided and the comprehensive notes provided by Sue were more than adequate in providing clear directions and instructions for the various appliances, etc. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every way possible, if you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic cottage with a truly spectacular garden and doorstep access to to miles of public walkways look no further. Finally, a huge thinks to our wonderfully responsive host Sue for offering this property on Airbnb, very, very highly recommended.

The cottage was a 2 minute walk from the town centre so very convenient! Our hosts were very responsive and helpful and left us some snacks which were very welcome. If you’re driving I would definitely suggest asking to book the car park available for the duration of your stay because while there is some parking, it’s almost impossible to get a spot! We had an amazing time, thank you!

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location with views over a wildlife rich pond and its own private garden. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living area, cosy bedrooms. Extras left for us to use with our toddler - only caveat if planning to stay with a little one is that the stairs are steep but manageable! We felt really at home and will definitely book again if looking to stay in the area in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Sean’s! He was very accommodating & had his kitchen fully stocked-which was great after traveling! He gave us information about the surrounding area, and answered our many questions! His home was very clean & neat, and very welcoming! We highly recommend Sean’s Airbnb!!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub — it was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day. It truly made the stay feel luxurious and special. The host was responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The check-in process was smooth, and the whole experience felt stress-free and welcoming. Helen's flat is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and the kitchen table has a stunning view over Hereford (many games of cribbage played with glasses of wine!). The kitchen has everything needed to produce a meal and Helen kindly left milk, breakfast goods etc in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, with extra linen if you needed. The HUGE shower was a real luxury. The relaxing spacious sitting room has a woodburner stove if needed (sadly we could not justify lighting it in June 😆). This is a perfect base for travelling around the beautiful surrounding areas, or to just chill out and relax (WiFi very good). 10/10 🤗

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

Absolutely idyllic space. Views superb. Access to double bed is a ladder so might not suit everyone. We loved it.

Lovely stay at this Airbnb, would recommend. Used as a base to visit friends. Peaceful neighbourhood and walkable to things of interest. Bed very comfy and Julian was a great host!

Had a great stay, the dogs loved the large enclosed garden to run around in. Would stay again.

Maureen was the perfect host. She met us on arrival and gave us all the info we needed. She was close by if required but not intrusive. The annexe was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal for exploring The Cotswolds and Moreton in Marsh has all the shops, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants anyone could need, all in walking distance. We would happily recommend this accommodation.

A wonderful period home full of original features. Very beautiful, comfy, spacious place to relax, and a stunning garden, with a great view of the church.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.
