A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! The location was amazing, 10 minutes or less to Lunenburg, 15 minutes to Mahone bay, 20 minutes to Bridge Water, 25 minutes or less to Chester. The accommodation itself was clean, provided beautiful views of the salt water, the hot tub was in a great spot to allow to see everything! Wish the sun was out more so we could have soaked every second on the beautiful deck, with comfortable furniture, however it rained for one of our evenings. Wild flowers all around the property provided comfort and beauty! We felt comfortable and relaxed our whole stay! Highly recommend.

Palmer's Cottage is a lovely place to spend a quiet, relaxing holiday, close to nature and the outdoors but also close enough to visit Halifax for an evening out. Lots of activities (beach, bicycle, walking) steps from the front door. The cottage is comfortable with a truly "fully-equipped" kitchen, for those who like to cook. Steve is a great host, responsive to questions, available to help when needed but always respectful of his guest's privacy.
