We had a wonderful stay at Gerard’s cottage! The space was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with little extras like washing machine soap, cookies, and milk which was really a nice touch. Check-in was seamless, and Gerard was incredibly helpful and informative throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Waterford and the surrounding area, and we especially loved his recommendation to visit the Copper Coast Cliffs...absolutely stunning! The kitchen was complete and fully stocked with cooking utensils. My family really enjoyed the local stray cat that appeared for occasional treats. HE otherwise came and "joined us" by sitting outside the door. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and welcoming stay.

Brilliant stay!! Rita is a wonderful host and the location is exquisite. Come and experience a quintessential little Irish coastal town, wind small lanes and thatched cottages around the corner. Idyllic spot and wonderful host and rooms. Particularly recommend the Engine Room bar/restaurant nearby. Superb staff, well priced and laid-back relaxed environment, well within walking distance too

Modern Luxury Living in Waterford City Center

My family of five stayed here and absolutely loved it. It is less than ten minutes by foot to the city center, but is also located on park that felt like its own village. Within seconds you have access to pharmacies, cafes, a grocery and a great pub! The venue itself was cute, tidy, functional and immaculate. Two notes of caution: 1) if you bring a car you’ll need to park it at a nearby carpark (garage). The street parking can only be purchased for an hour, once an hour, and for 2 hrs max. Not ideal. But luckily you can walk everywhere from the apartment, so just go park in the carpark 200m away. 2) long, hot showers are not an option. You’ll have to be very mindful of hot water usage, as there isn’t an abundance. That said, if you’re quick then you’ll have a delightfully hot shower! :) The host was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. And Waterford is a great city, and worth exploring. We wholeheartedly recommend!
