Parking with boat and RV hookups, private V-Dock dock with 8x8 sundeck and swimming ladder, firepit, free firewood, charcoal grill, and spacious yard for activities. Incredible fishing, a complimentary canoe, kayaks, and swimming with beautiful view and sunsets. Big Stone Lake on one side and wildlife/farm fields on the other...remote and comfortable.

Less than two miles from the Big Stone Lake boat landing, we are easy access to the best Perch fishing in the area. Ortonville is a cozy little town amidst the farm fields of west Minnesota, right on the border with South Dakota. We accomodate up to four people on four extra-long twin beds. We have seating, wifi, a TV, coffee pot, refridgerator, microwave, and self-check-in. *Our bathroom is EXTERNAL, is a shared bathroom with other guests on the property, and requires a slight walk. * Welcome!

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.

A wonderful cozy basement dwelling just east of the South Dakotan Border. The accommodations were very homey and spacious. Dawn was a very hospitable host. The bike barn down the road is very cool if you’re into motorcycles. The location doesn’t have much around, very peaceful in my opinion. It’s a worthwhile pit stop to crash a few nights while on route to a distant location!

This was a great location with a boat lift right on the lake that made for excellent ease for our fishing trip! Bring chairs for bonfire and your own water to drink. As for the house itself, the photos make it look better than it really is inside, but fine for a group of guys just there to fish.

This place has absolutely everything you can think of needing at a lake. They provide kayaks, games for kids, toys for kids, life jackets, etc. I have never been to a Airbnb that was this well stocked and willing to share that much personal items. Curt, the owner even stocked us with firewood.

great place to stay felt like I was home 🏡 if I'm in town again will go back very nice people. and for the area pretty cheap. personally I like the farm life where it is nice and peaceful. Karen was a great host she is very nice and thoughtful. it was great to stay at her warm and hospitable home 🏡.

Great location for hiking at Big Stone Lake State Park and the National Wildlife Refuge. Very close to the headwaters of the MN River too. The lake is just across the street too so would be a great location if you want to do some boating or fishing too. The beds were comfortable and the space was just what we needed for two adults and a baby.
