Peaceful & Cozy Private Living Space

You will have the entire basement-- two bedrooms, bathroom, small kitchen area, & living room-- to yourself. We are in a wooded setting a couple of miles from town. You'll be able to enjoy your own patio entrance (pond view) with access to a firepit. We are close to the White Pine Trail, the perfect place to walk or jog. We think you'll find the space peaceful & cozy. There is a stairway to the upstairs, but it is curtained off for privacy. You will have the entire floor & entrance to yourself!

Beautiful Wilderness Retreat

This cabin is a great place to take a country retreat! It is nestled in a small clearing in the wilderness of the Manistee National Forest. You will be surrounded by beautiful nature, a trout stream, a Japanese Garden, an English Garden, an orchard and barn with free-range chickens. The cabin doesn't have electricity or running water or kitchen but guests have access to two great bathrooms with access separate from the main house, Wi-Fi, and the electricity and kitchen at the main house.

Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Everything you need to relax & recharge in one cozy space. Private entrance. This suite is an open floor plan with a small kitchenette that includes a fridge, microwave and stove with basic kitchen utensils and dishes. It is located in town close to stores, restaurants. Quiet, relaxed, country setting in a nice subdivision. It is only 5 miles to Big Rapids, where you will find a great variety of stores and restaurants.
