The location of the house was really great. It was quite impressive in terms of both design and cleanliness. Since the bathroom and toilet are together, a little water can splash around after a shower, so it may be helpful to have slippers with you. Also, since the building is old, the sound insulation is not very good and there may be noise from time to time from the apartment upstairs. But this was not an uncomfortable situation for us. You might want to consider this if you are sensitive to sound though. The hosts were extremely caring and helpful, very responsive to every question we had. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, we would definitely consider choosing it again.

our stay was nice. The location of the house was in a very good place, we had easy access to many places. The house was clean and convenient. Mr. Baris took care of us and was very friendly. We would definitely prefer to stay here again and again if it is available without looking elsewhere on our Istanbul trips.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

The stay was great. The apartment is very comfortable, with good beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious balcony, and it’s located in a lively neighborhood. There’s a lot to see within walking distance. If you’re in good shape, you can even walk to the historic area of Sultanahmet. The ferry to Kadikoy is also nearby. Taxis are inexpensive, I recommend using Uber. It’s a pity we didn’t meet the host in person; it’s always nice to talk to a local. The apartment and its location are truly recommended!

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at Can's place. The listing is just as described but the view is even more beautiful in person! The house is clean, private and peaceful. It's on a hilly area but you can walk to restaurants and cafes in 10 minutes. Can was always responsive and super helpful. He also allowed us an early check-in. I would like to mention that we've stayed at many Airbnbs but this is probably the only one that was fully stocked with plenty of water bottles! We really appreciated that. Thank you to the host and we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended for short and long term stays.

Berek is a wonderful person but the property is not fit for elderly people you will have to climb stairs to get to the barrooms

Aksel Bey's house is just as it appears in the photos. The 2+1 house has everything you can need. Very comfortable apartment with smart home system, underfloor heating. Mr. Aksel is very kind and easy to communicate with. If you need to stay around Maslak, you can opt blindfolded.

The house is very clean and everything has been considered up to the smallest detail. The location is close to everywhere and the host communication was quick and sincere, we were very satisfied, thank you.

15 min walk to Beyoglu. Felt like at home, the kitchen was quite well equipped. Building has good facilities, there are a mini market and a bakery in the site.

Hello. The host is very interested, we reached what we wanted at any time. The security of the house was also very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Kamuran. The parking lot was very crowded and scary for me, I asked and we put the car outside in front of the entrance. I wanted to get out of the parking lot right away because I had a panic attack. I don't like Tarlabaşı and its surroundings as a neighborhood, it was very good to be close to the street, we walked in 5 minutes, but we were exposed to the different neighborhoods around, of course, a little. And right after we rented the house, there was a discount on the price of the apartment. We paid around 4500 for one night, it dropped to around 3500. Seeing him was sad. Apart from that, the house was full, there was nothing missing, and personal care was provided by the host. Thank you for everything, see you again if we want to stay across the street. But this time, I will request a discount due to this price experience.

Excellent location on a quiet, one-way street - it is steep in parts but that's Istanbul...An easy walk to all the cool districts in the area including Galata and not much further to get to the big sights on the Horn. Easy as well to get to the various key ferry piers. The apartment is very stylish, well-appointed and in a relatively new building. Best aspect was the slot views, between buildings across the street, to the Bosphorus Strait from the bedroom and living room and you can watch the ships and ferries pass by in a never-ending sequence. Cruise ships, when docked, sometimes block the view but that is only during the day when we were out and about anyway. The host is very supportive with local recommendations and quick responses to our very few questions. 5 star plus for us and we stayed 6 nights, so we'll say 6 stars!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—exactly like the photos, if not better. The location is unbeatable - just a few minutes’ walk from Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, and Taksim Square, yet tucked away on a quiet street that made it feel peaceful and safe. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - quick to respond, full of local tips, and even left thoughtful touches like bottled water,. The Wi-Fi was fast, the bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great (which was a lifesaver in the summer heat).

Best Airbnb we have stayed ever. Everything is New and Spotless. Walking distance to All Must See Attractions. Fish Market with a Vegetables Stand is within 5 minutes walk. Ferry just across the street and you can see it from your Ceiling to floor windows. Views are amazing especially from rooftop patio. We highly recommend this Unit

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

Everything was very nice. Beautiful Appartement- very clean- very much like on the pictures. Georgeous Place, quiete and very cosy..Check in and Communication was very easy. Nihal was a very nice host and we even got a late check out as our Flight was later in the evening. All in all highly recommended!
