Vacation rentals with a pool in Bessèges

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, nice and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting in peace, reading and swimming in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

The house in the small Hamau is very quiet and very private. The nature, the surroundings, the house and the pool are brilliant. We felt completely undisturbed. We had contact with Johanne several times by phone. She gave us a lot of tips and detailed explanations. We were even allowed to meet her mother Nathalie with her partner in person. As well as the neighbors, an artist who showed us his studio (out of sight) and who rebuilt all the Hamau years ago. They were all sooo warm! We spent unforgettable holidays here! We will definitely be back!

Very well-equipped accommodation and friendly and very responsive host, the pool and jacuzzi are a nice asset and very pleasant for relaxing. The accommodation was decent in cleanliness, the nearby road emits a little traffic noise, but the bedding is excellent and you can rest well in the large beds measuring 180 cm x 200 cm. We miss the superlatives to talk about our stay at Aisha's!! - top cottage! (in total there are 3): great location (25 minutes from Valon Pont d 'Arc) quiet, functional, typical of the region and carefully decorated. The bedding is impeccable (including the sofa bed!). There is absolutely nothing missing in terms of amenities. The Air conditioning was very appreciated. The 3 cottages are very distinct from each other and perfectly harmonize around the common areas (gym, beautiful and large swimming pool very well maintained, summer kitchen etc.) and the estate is large enough for everyone to have their independence as they wish.... but we greatly appreciated the fact that we are not totally alone and isolated. We were able to have great encounters. And what about Aisha!!! She is amazing! caring, kind, caring for her vacationers while being very discreet. A Love!! Thank you bcp Aîcha

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover. Great stay at William's with our three children. Perfect welcome, William is very attentive. Very good tips on activities to do near the accommodation (walking, kayaking, village to visit...). Great stay as a family (two adults and three big teenagers). The house is in one of the most beautiful alleys of the center of Uzes, if not the most beautiful, while being very quiet including on market day (Saturday morning) close by and very popular. Very nice to stroll through this beautiful village without having to take the car, have meals on the terrace (really very nice) of the house and if you prefer a restaurant, you are close to good tables, good bakeries/pastries, cafe terraces, very appreciated. The house is very well-equipped and decorated. Certainly there are stairs to go from one bedroom to another and to the living room and this is part of the charm of the house. Very good communication with Annie-France who was very responsive for details when necessary.

we had a great stay! the house is super comfortable, large, very well equipped, a decoration made with taste, very thoughtful amenities. a games room with everything that can be possible to have fun, and have a good time for young and old... our hosts were extremely kind and available, Gisou and Rolland are lovely and welcomed us with good bottles, Christmas decor, chocolates ...GREAT!!! That's so nice. the house is quiet, it's amazing as it's peaceful, and it's beautiful, we were able to admire the sunsets, a view of the Pont du Gard, wonderful!!! we struggled to leave so much that we loved this place. many activities around, beautiful villages to visit, horseback riding, walks, restaurants, ect... it's the perfect holiday spot: beautiful house and with everything, beautiful place, adorable hosts... what more could we ask for?

A real little paradise much better than the idea we had when we saw the listing. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped with quality bedding, an A/C and a great summer kitchen. The pool is great not overlooked and with a wide view of the landscape. And it's paradise for hiking leaving from the house on foot there are plenty of paths. What happiness!

Very nice rental. We appreciated that the house - old oil mill - is out of the way, without vis-à-vis. The pool is for private use, only tenants have access to it. The house is perfect for a couple.
