Great stay in the house! Very clean upon arrival. The house is really nice and well placed for sightseeing.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and responded very quickly. The space was well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, olive oil and enough toilet paper. The bed was very comfortable. I was pleased about the flowers on the terrace. They needed some water. In 5 minutes you were on the beach, the location is quiet, perfect for the dogs.

The pictures do not do it justice. The house is huge, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to cook dinner. Loved the fireplace. The view is gorgeous and the location is fabulous.

Wonderful hosts and home. They have everything you need or want during your stay.

Hello Jean-Christophe, there were four of us from 4/14 to 4/24/25 in the beautiful Chalet sur Mer. We give 5 stars for the property and service. We are really completely satisfied. The chalet was very clean, it is appealing and friendly furnished and designed, everything you need is there. The beds are very good. The communication with Melanie was excellent, she responded to questions immediately, was polite and helped immediately. The square of the chalet on the complex is very quiet, the space around the chalet is sufficiently large. The proximity to the sea as described, great. Functional house. Very well located for visiting the different landing sites (Bunker, Caen memorial, American Cimetierre, Pegasus Birdge etc ...) The house is a few minutes from the sword beach by car.

We spent 2 days visiting the sights related to D-Day and Operation Overlord with our children. The home is directly on the dunes at Omaha Beach and served as a perfect home-base. While a little dated, we enjoyed the simple charm.

We were beyond impressed with Dany and Elodie's Airbnb. Their self-contained flat is simple and clean while also catering for every circumstance you may need in your own home. We were happy to see a secure, private decent sized garden for us to use. After a long day out exploring it was an added bonus to relax in the hot tub. Thank you both for aiding in a memory of our lovely little French holiday. We would love to come back again in the future to do all the things we didn't get to do in your beautiful part of the world.

Spacious clean house and beautiful rustic-chic interior. Garden, small heated outdoor pool and pool table perfect to keep the Kids of screens. Perfect location in short walking distance to the beach and towns.

nice and clean house. beds slept fine. wifi was good. house fully furnished. contact with host was nice and close ( walking distance less than 10 minutes) the beach . Swimming pool also well and nicely located. in short, we ( 4 people) had a great time and would love to come back. regards, Mieke

House is a very good location and is a very pleasant place for our autumn family gathering. No complaints, everything was in order and well appreciated by all generations. The configuration of the house (orientation, pool, openings) must make it really great for a summer stay in good Norman weather.

We went with our daughter to recharge for 4 days in this lovely duplex, marine atmosphere, complete equipment, very warm welcome from Cathy, a place full of history, the ocean, huge beaches, incredible light even in the rain! We would definitely recommend it!

The house is perfect and as described. the garden is lovely. The beach is 2 minutes away which is perfect with a nice walk along the water with cafes/restaurants nearby. house suitable for children with bed, high chair, etc. Stéphanie came to welcome us which is very nice. Accommodating and very kind, she made it easy to enter and exit the accommodation. Thanks! We'll be back with pleasure.

This house, both bright and beautifully decorated, offered us a pleasant stay with family. We were able to have our meals on the terrace as the weather was so nice with a sea view, and enjoyed the warmth of the wood stove in the evening. (Consider buying wood from the store next door or picking it up on the beach) Very good stay. Everything is designed to make you feel good.

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.

Exceptional stay in a house where nothing was missing! Located just a short walk to the beach, and close to other major cities, we were able to recharge in a beautiful, peaceful setting and close to museums and historical sites in the area! Lots of kitchen utensils, comfortable bedding, and a big thank you to Sandrine who we couldn't meet on arrival, but with whom we were still able to communicate via phone and who was always very responsive. We highly recommend it and will come back sometime with great pleasure! Thank you for the welcome gifts finally!!! We look forward to welcoming you!
