Vacation rentals with lake access in Berks County

Natalie was an excellent host—she responded quickly to any questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This tiny home is the perfect getaway for a couple. It was our first time staying in a tiny home, and we absolutely loved it! The space was just as pictured—cozy, charming, and ideal for a relaxing retreat. A couple of minor downsides were the Wi-Fi and hot water. The Wi-Fi went out for a few hours during our stay, but honestly, it didn’t bother us much. It was a nice opportunity to unplug and be present in the moment. As for the hot water, it worked well initially, but after a while, it turned cold, so I had to keep my showers quick. Overall, this place is amazing, and we highly recommend it. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy it again!

What a wonderful, relaxing place in the country but not too far from some excellent restaurants, breweries and outdoor attractions! A perfect weekend for my husband and I in a very relaxing getaway A++++

My girlfriend and I stayed over the weekend, this cottage was very cute and cozy (very clean as well!) It was as described, in a beautiful remote location with lots of nice things to see, day and night. The cottage is very antique, so some stuff was a bit outdated but that’s not a criticism, for a place like this it makes complete sense and adds to its charm (except I was too tall for the shower but that’s fine.) Overall Dennis was very responsive and specific about checking in, garbage, amenities etc. I would definitely consider staying in this beautiful home again!

If you sent any time growing up in the Midwest, this place will make you want to break out a polyester onesie and bunny slippers. When was the last time you had a 4 layer dip and watched the game? Well, this is the place to do it again. I stayed here with my teenage son and our dog and they ate, walked and napped while I attended a workshop. I couldn’t get them to leave they felt so comfy here. For me, I loved the early morning walks looking at never ending paddocks across rolling hills: the perfect way to clear my mind. We even made s’mores over an open fire which was, well - fire! Great hospitality, lots of living space, very comfy.

This tiny house was a perfect location for me during a visit to the area for an event at Rodale Institute. Mark and Diane texted to let me know the house would be ready early and were on site when I arrived. They offered dinner suggestions and a quick tour of the house. They’ve thought of every amenity in the house, including the generous breakfast fixings. I happened to forget shampoo and was grateful for their supply of toiletries. The loft bed is so cozy and the mattress was comfortable. I’m so happy I booked this location and would stay again if I was in the area.

Marian & Ivan’s place was exactly as pictured in the photos. House was very clean, and fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, cups, plates, etc.. We cooked breakfast & dinner everyday there. The views are awesome & it’s very quiet. My personal favorite was relaxing in the hammock / taking the rowboat out on the lake. The aesthetics of the home are also very nice. You can see the remodel process — in a picture book Marian has there. It was amazing to see what they put into this place from what it was. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a nice, quiet & relaxing getaway from our everyday lifestyles. ….If you’re a hiker - the views at pulpit rock are a must see. (Was about a 20min drive from cabin).

We had a lovely stay! The house has plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the great outdoors and great indoors. Despite the rainy weekend, we did not run out of things to do. From playing games at the dining room table, to watching movies in the loft, to taking in the beautiful lakeside scenery outside, we had the most enjoyable time. This place is perfect for a large group getaway where everyone can be comfortable!

Such a wonderful place! Marian thought about all the big and all the little things. Was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a quiet and friendly place to get lost in nature but still have quick access to great restaurants and things to do!
