Farmstay vacation rentals in Bergrivier Municipality

Jamaka was a great place to rest and feel the peace. We had an easy access to hikes starting in Algeria. For more hikes we gad to drive a bit (around 20 km to Dwarsriver) but this was ok. Delicious organic mangos straight from the farm paid back :) We like the house. Was speaceful and well equipped. Comfy bed, very good working wifi, could not feel any loadshedding ;) The place is much better than it look on the pictures and the are is simply beautiful! We would love to come back one day :)

Unbelievable hosts! Welcoming and clean! Nonnie and Eddie made us feel so at home and the kids loved been on a working farm! Highly recommended!! Will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is beautiful, spacious and peaceful, and the grounds are magnificent, with tons of privacy, beautiful views, large trees and a tranquil old world European country villa feel. Lynne, our host, was exceptionally friendly, and helped without any reservations. We will definitely come back for a longer stay, and to recharge away from the city.

It was our third time staying at Melanie's place - we just love how peaceful it is and the house with the garden is just beautiful. The hot tub was great for us and the kids. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to get out of the city and in need of a peaceful retreat.

We spent a weekend at the cottage for my parents' birthdays and we all had a great time, including the dogs! Beautifully appointed, very clean and modern, we had everything we needed & more, including ice, tea, coffee, fire wood etc. The pool and loungers are fantastic for the summer heat. We loved the peace and beauty of the farm and surrounding mountains. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed it here. It is nice and Quiet and you can go for Wine Tasting on site. Have a braai at the dam with beautiful views. Will recommend this place. The staff was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Exiting new rooms will also be available soon.

This is a truly spectacular venue, perched on the western slopes of Piket-Bo-Berg with elevated views over the Swartland towards Paternoster. We took the main house and the cottage for a 3 day weekend for a party of 14. We used the main house as the social hub with a large open plan kitchen, wonderfully appointed dining deck and excellent outdoor cooking facilities. As a foodie catering to that number the kitchen facilities and options were superb and well integrated with the social spaces. In addition to the cottage, the main house bedrooms are divided between two buildings, 3 under the main roof and two directly across from the main entrance. Each structure has its own kitchen with modern fridges, stoves and ovens. They are tastefully decorated, while the main house has a wonderfully eclectic style that just works. All told we had a super weekend despite a barrage of electricity interruptions on one day but that didn't detract from the overall experience.

The photos doesn't do the place justice. The absolute beauty of this place and surroundings are astonishing. 31 on Witzenberg is something everyone should experience once in their lives. Since we entered the property it felt like home. The cottage is so cozy and it had everything that we need. Afternoons at the braai watching the sunset are out of this world. It gave us the best of both worlds, the springboks and zebra roaming freely and also the serenity and peacefulness that gives an spiritual encouragement that was needed. Our hosts were exceptional, Polly and Jane. Thank you for allowing us in your space. May you continue to do good and may you prosper in everything you do.

Absolute perfection for our weekend getaway! This cottage is the ideal size, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully & tastefully furnished with every amenity you could need. We absolutely loved cozying up by the fire. The beautiful surroundings and views are incredible, and Riebeek-Kasteel itself is an awesome town. Couldn't recommend it more highly for a couple - thanks for a wonderful stay, MG and I loved it!

We really enjoyed our second stay at Peter's spot. We decided to go on a stormy weekend and it was the perfect cosy space for that! The surrounding mountains were capped with snow on our last morning which was a nice send-off back home! We'll definitely be back again for another stay!

We had a lovely stay at Janette's place, it's a beautiful building with high ceilings and wooden floors. The garden is lovely and there are lots of little nooks and crannies to discover.

Had a great stay. Hot=tub was amazing and you are surrounded by a very beautiful view. Great star gazing at night and nice wine farms to visit during the day. Will defiantly be back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay on the farm with our son. He loved exploring the open space, but his absolute highlight was getting to feed the lambs - an unforgettable experience for him! Our host, Hadi, was welcoming and accommodating throughout. The room was cozy and had a stunning view of the sunrise - thanks to the full glass wall facing east, we could enjoy the morning light whether sitting outside or from the comfort of our bed. Highly recommended for a peaceful family getaway.

The area is incredibly peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Our host, Karen, was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond by offering to show us around. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to unwind in a serene setting.

Lovely house, with everything you need. Big patio braai area with a big grass lawn. Great for a picnic. Saw a lot of springbokkies and horses through our bedroom window. Such a nice place to unwind from the city life.

this was a great experience for the entire family! great space as advertised! great Breakfast and great tour and explanation of the rock art right next door. the hosts are great welcoming people highly recommend!

We had a great time in Cornelle's apartment. The place is super lovely and chilled. Everything was very clean and decorated nicely. The communication was also nice and helpful. I would love to come back.

Great little cottage in the bush with a small creek at the front. Very comfortable beds and host was easy to communicate with.

Very happy with our stay, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our place. We braaid and did some fishing, had great sunsets over the dam all in all we had an amazing relaxing weekend with no complaints. Stunning location 👌🏽

I want to share my impressions of our weekend in a lovely house we rented with friends. The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The nature around was simply breathtaking: green forests and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed morning walks and evening gatherings on the terrace. Huge thanks to Jane for her hospitality and care. This weekend left us with only positive emotions, and we will definitely come back!
