The city center is only 1500 meters away, the train station is 1600 meters away and the highway entrance is 3 minutes away. Dogs are welcome guests. We offer our small, fine vacation home in the Eifel for guests (also with dogs). The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

Our newly renovated apartment will welcome you. In a nice area surrounded by open fields and close to the historical center of the village our apartment is the perfect place to start or end the day. If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away.
