Apartment vacation rentals in Bergenhus

Very good location, very close to the train station and with good communication with the various public transports in the area. Also, in less than 10 minutes walking you were in the city center. The house was very well equipped and with enough rooms for everyone we stayed, we were 12 in total. Yes it is true that the beds were quite small for two people, more or less they measured 1.20 meters. Communication with the owner very good, any questions or issues was resolved very quickly.

The penthouse is very comfortable, clean and centrally located. It's worth it!

Cozy Airbnb. Beautiful views of Bergen from above. Heated floors 🥰 Maria was extremely kind - she helped bring up our bags two flights of stairs to her apartment and helped us with how to use the washing machine. She was extremely responsive. We highly recommend staying here!

Ana and her husband were always so helpful and responsive, the area was absolutely walkable (my fiancé and I even walked many km south to the stave church easily), and gave SUPER helpful advice about public transit, hikes, and restaurants! The area was also super calm, right near little markets and JaJa was much better than expected and so close :) thank you so much again! I would definitely stay there again, it’s so cozy and lovely (we even had a cute little cat visitor in the backyard, which was lovely to sit in as the sun set)!

The location was perfect. Close to the city centre and Fløyen but also in a quieter part of town. The apartment was perfect for two guests that are comfortable with each other. The apartment was a little smaller than expected, and it’s on street level so be mindful with the blinds. Overall, exactly what we needed for a two day adventure in Bergen.

I can’t say enough. Hands down best experience, location, and hosts! I would give 100 stars if I could! Do not visit Bergen without staying in the best location in historic Bergen with the most gracious hosts!

The apartment is very well-equipped and the location is ideal.

Our stay was fine, recommended, beautiful views, good parking and shops nearby. Public transportation so to speak around the corner. Giant friendly couple and helpful. Opportunity to wash on request. Dishwasher. Please note for the disabled there is a wide staircase with good handrail to apartment. But not accessible to wheelchair users. We will definitely be up for another stay. We spent 3 nights in Rita's place, ideally located to enjoy Bergen and boat trips. Only difficulty for us: access to the apartment and the room is cramped and a little difficult for an elderly person ( my mom is 80 years old)!

Great place with lots of space. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need. Marit was always very helpful :)

We absolutely loved staying in Line's place! The beds were very comfortable and we had so much space for our family of 4. Our kids loved having their own bedrooms and it was nice to have a cozy communal space upstairs to hang out together. Everything inside the place was immaculate as well. The stairs leading up to the apartment are no joke, be sure to pack good grippy shoes as the cobblestones in the alley can be a bit slippy when it rains. But there is so much to do right around the apartment and the views from every room are absolutely gorgeous. Our host was super friendly and responsive to questions both before and during our trip, and was quick to offer suggestions of restaurants, ice cream spots, etc in the area. There was a nice selection of Bergen/Norway/Scandinavia tour books and maps on hand as well. A wonderful experience, we would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again if we are in Bergen in the future.

Great option for Bergen with free parking

This was definitely a rare find. The apartment is beautiful and cozy, very very well equipped and spotless clean. Communication with Synnove was one of the best we ever had since using Airbnb and she made our stay worry-free. It’s very well located; walking distance to the station, supermarkets, funicular, coffee shops. Knowing that it’s common for the guests to make their own beds in Norway, we were pleasantly surprised to see they were already made for us upon arrival. Beds are very soft - we would’ve preferred them a bit more firm but still, our stay there was 5/5. Would definitely choose this apartment again if we return to Bergen.

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

This Airbnb in Bergen is absolutely unforgettable! The billion-dollar view overlooking the city and fjords is worth the trip alone—pictures don’t even do it justice. I’m shocked Bergen doesn’t get a reputation for being a romantic city. Granted I got reminded daily from locals how lucky I was to be in Bergen when they had 3 straight days of beautiful weather. The private hot tub was an incredible bonus, perfect for soaking after a long day of exploring. The host had great communication throughout, making everything easy and stress-free. Heads up: the walk up to the house is a serious workout—but honestly, it’s part of the experience and makes the stay feel even more rewarding. If you’re looking for a place with stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality, this is it. I would gladly stay here again without hesitation!
