The place is just amazing! I wanted a special place for my Sabbatical trip and the place was just perfect! Everything extremely clean. Bedroom very comfortable, with soft, new and fresh scented linen. I felt like home! The patio is amazing with birds coming in the morning and late afternoons. Park right in front, beautiful! supermarket within walking distance, very easy access to transportation to the city. kitchen with Everything and Karen also left juice, water, coffee. Adorable in every detail. I had privacy, silence I needed. And Karen is an amazing host and person. Just a blessed place!

My husband and I stayed at Shane's during our short stay in New York. This place was exactly as seen in the ad and we were pleasantly pleased. After reading some of the negative reviews posted by other guests, I can say without a doubt that the pros outweigh the cons. In our opinion, it was like a home away from home. No regrets, will definitely visit again.

My Stay at Shawn’s Kave was very peaceful, the place was very clean and well kept, I felt right at home.Shawn is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Great AirBnB. Hosts are kind & very responsive. The space itself is very comfortable. Supermarket, laundry, dry cleaning, Walgreen's are about a 10 or 15 minute walk. There is a nature trail a few blocks from there which is near a large park (Marine Park) Literally 5 minutes away are a Deli which makes sandwiches, salads, and carries a very good selection of groceries, pizzeria, Italian restaurant, and large park (Marine Park) Another steakhouse is a 10 minute walk. Location is very close to public transportation. Local bus -B31 takes you to the subway on Kings Highway and there the trains take you to the famous Coney Island or to Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. ThThe current fare is $2.90 there is also an Express Bus (BM4) which runs every day except Sunday & holidays which takes you into Manhattan. Current fare is $7? I think you can add an app to your phone to charge fares to a credit card -check with MTA (for info & schedules) and OMNY .
