this is a super cute little place. Absolutely perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young kids.

We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. It made exploring the area, super convenient and enjoyable. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, but what really made the experience exceptional was the host. From the moment I booked, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and they went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and at ease. There was a small change in my travel plans, and the host was so understanding and flexible, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone who not only provides a great place to stay but also genuinely cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. If you’re looking for a place with a thoughtful and reliable host, I can’t recommend this listing enough. I would absolutely stay here again!

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location - perfect for our family getaway!

This rental was perfect for a large family to stay, as it sleeps 12 (including futon and couch). It was perfect for our large group attending graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy which is just 14 minutes away. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was light filled and comfortable. The views of the horses was my favorite part. The front porch was peaceful and we had an amazing time. Fire pit was nice, but we didn’t use it. Plenty of parking available. This is a great place, as long as you realize you are far from any major towns (30 mins to Traverse City). It was peaceful, clean, and perfect for us!

Jamie was a great host! The place was set up so cute. A little smaller than the pics look, but still good. The doors and cabinets dont close all the way, but probably an older house, we could deal🙂 the outside wasnt setup like pics outside, but we moved the things no problem. It was winter, so couldn't get mad. We enjoyed some time at the bonfire. The hot tub was real nice! Jamie was always so fast to respond and help when needed. Great stay!

At first we were afraid we were too far from the Traverse City happenings. But we found the peacefulness of the location - the stream running through the backyard with otters at play- and the nearness to the cute towns - Empire, Beulah and Frankfort - were worth the 35 minute drive to Very Busy Traverse City. The house itself, yes, was grandma-ish but so comfortable. The screened in porch was perfect for relaxing, the beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the host was very responsive. Be aware that although the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the only food is salt and pepper. And the lockbox was difficult to open/close. Other than that, definitely a 5 rating.

Jake’s hotel was clean and tidy. Great location! Jake was responded quickly with late night questions, and accommodated our needs in last minute travel plans. 10 out of 10 would book again!

Booked this AirBnB for a weekend ski trip up north. The check-in was very flexible which was nice because we wanted to ski on check in day. The house was very cozy and inviting. Very clean and taken care of. It offered a lot more room than I expected. The hot tub was spectacular, very hot and the jets are wonderful. Check out was super accommodating as well and the host was very responsive to questions. Only trouble we had was that the furnace has some trouble keeping the house warm during a blizzard. Having the garage was super nice during the blizzard though. It seemed like during our stay most of the neighborhood wasn’t there so it was very quiet and peaceful. Seems like a neighborhood with a lot of summer homes. If you’re going in the winter be sure to take a car with AWD because the roads were pretty difficult to drive on in my tiny sedan. Not the BnB’s fault, but just a warning.

It was a very nice place. Clean, and peaceful in a very rural setting. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. My wife and I would definitely stay here again

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always great. Perfect location for getting to Camp Lookout! Parents when you drop off your camper this is a perfect place to come spend a couple of nights.

They are fantastic hosts and were lovely to be around. Absolutely on the short list for long weekends again in the future.

Very spacious and comfortable place to stay. Wonderful location in Honor -- so convenient to Platte Lake, Platte River kayaking, Platte Beach, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Kodiak Cabin is nearest the road, so a bit of road noise, but the spacious cabin was well worth it.

Our stay at this charming cabin in Benzonia was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a true gem. The highlight was undoubtedly the private lake right in the backyard. It was incredibly well-maintained and offered a serene and picturesque setting for a truly quiet getaway. We spent hours enjoying the peaceful views and the sense of seclusion it provided. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home, allowing us to relax and unwind without a single worry. A special shout-out to the hosts, who were simply the sweetest and most helpful individuals. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, testament to their thoughtful organization. This cabin was perfect for our stay! The acreage is beautiful and the creek is right out back, just as pictured. The cabin is very clean, as well. Our children are older now, but the amenities for children are plentiful. I also noticed how much was put in place for the safety of children like retractable gates at the stairs, cabinet locks, high locks on the patio door, etc. Our teens loved playing air hockey in the basement! If life brings us back to this area, we would love to come back for another stay!

House is stunning I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It’s the perfect stay, quiet and private. Good for any function. Host Rebecca was super polite and responsive to all of my questions! 5 stars every day of the week!

Isla Fern is an absolutely incredible stay, everything we were hoping for and MORE! The pictures truly do not do justice and after arriving I couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful it was. Everything that is there is curated down to the smallest detail, modern industrial meets boho chic, with a pantry full of necessities. It was really the cherry on top of such a memorable family vacation. We stayed for a week and we were in need of making sure we had an accesible situation for my father who traveled with us. Lisa and her crew were more than happy to accommodate and make our stay that much more comfortable and for that I am eternally grateful! We enjoyed the sauna and outdoor shower. We grilled delicious dinners on the back porch and my daughter fell in love with the rock climbing tree and upstairs kids space. The beds and linens were a sweet escape after spending long days hiking and kayaking. If we are ever in the sleeping bear area again we know where we’ll be staying!

Great place , our dog especially enjoyed running through the snow in the extremely spacious fenced-in backyard. Was a great home base for checking out some of the dune hikes on Lake Michigan and skiing at Crystal Mountain. Highly recommend
