This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

This 1000sq ft home is on the Pere Marquette rail-trail, surrounded by peaceful country. Only 3 miles from hospital & Northwood University. A marked conservation trail is across the street. Tittabawassee River is a short jot down the road. Feel free to use the kayaks I provide. Enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the turkeys & deer. Enjoy yard games and the bonfire pit. This was my first Airbnb experience. It was a very pleasant one. As soon as you walk in you can see all of the love that has been poured into this space by the owners, and others who have visited. It is very cute, and the garage is a unique and useful utility. This space had anything you could ever need to feel at home from cooking spices/oils, cleaning supplies, comfort hygiene products stocked in the bathroom, plenty of books for reading/journaling, cold water bottles, and local recommendations posted on the fridge. The owners checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and had great communication. If we have reason to be over here again and need somewhere to stay, we look forward to booking again.

The stay was great very peaceful and love seeing the donkeys at night. Very friendly we had left a jacket there and was able to go back and get it after we had checked out . Loved the skull display that was under the TV stand in the living room and the house was very lovely. Will stay again.

This was our second stay with Sue. It was just as fantastic as the first time. We had six people in our group. Her house is spacious, clean, and comfortable with tons of amenities. We had a wonderful time playing cards, the piano, and of course ping-pong. It's located close to all of the restaurants, stores, and expressway entrance ramps. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Zero complaints. Sue is a gracious, friendly, proactive host! We highly recommend Sue and her home and hope to stay again! ❤️

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉
