Monthly Rentals in Benguerra Island

We just spent six dreamy days at Villa Tsai Tsai in Vilanculos and honestly? I didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful—like, jaw-dropping beautiful—and perfectly perched right on one of those beaches that feels like it belongs on a postcard (or a screensaver from the early 2000s, but in the best way). Eugenia, the host, is an actual angel. She was always available, always helpful, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You know when someone just gets it? That’s her. The whole team was lovely—warm, helpful, and just genuinely nice to be around. Mark organized boat trips to Bazaruto and Benguerra for us, and they were a total highlight: smooth rides, no delays, super comfy, and memories we’ll keep forever as a family. We felt completely at home—surrounded by good people, amazing service, and the kind of natural beauty that makes you stop mid sentence. Mozambique you've outdone yourself!

Nice little chalet in quite area.

Lexi has a beautiful house and is as described. The views are great and the help from Sezzi to make it as relaxing as possible was appreciated. The chef made us delicious meals however struggles with English so ensure he understands what you want and doesn’t just agree. Unfortunately the costings provided by Lexi were not accurate for Sezzi or the chef. Sezzi insisted on working the weekend as we checked out on a Sunday, this meant we had to pay him for two days. The chef was arranged for our full stay but check in is at 3pm and checkout by 11 - you are still required to pay the FULL day rate. The boat hire is a full day rate however the time includes launching and washing the boat afterwards, you are actually only on the boat from about 10am until 2pm. This limits how far you can actually go with the skipper constantly checking your time. We enjoyed our stay however be ready for possibly price changes and perhaps more than one day on the boat to see more of the islands.

We had a great time at Jonathan's. The house is very spacious and lots of very quirky rooms. The kids loved their rooms and they all were comfortable, airconditioned and most were en-suite. The view from the main living area is just a delight on the eyes. There is lots of couch space and the pool is spotless. The helper Vanencio was there to greet us and made sure the house was tidy and clean all the time. Honestly, we couldn't have wanted anything more. The beach by the house is probably our favourite stretch in Vilanculos and as a family holiday, this place just ticked all our boxes. Would definitely recommend and would certainly go again
