We had the best stay as a family, so much for the kids to do even with average weather and Alex and family were such wonderful hosts! The kids looked forward to the animal feeds every day and embraced farm life it was so peaceful and pleasant to come back and relax every day after exploring the surrounds. The barn is super comfortable and clean with a glorious bed and views from the upstairs loft. Highly recommend!

Stunning location, dream country house, gorgeous gardens, generous and friendly host. What more could you ask for! We didn’t leave the property as it was such a nice place to relax and unwind. Farm walks by day and fire pits at night. Dress ups for the kids were a hit. Fenced yard was perfect for our pooch. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

A beautiful little midweek retreat surrounded by the sounds of the close by river and local wildlife. The tiny home was clean, well looked after and private. Kerri-Anne provided a list of possible areas to explore within the local region and my partner and I highly recommend visiting Ellenborough Falls (pack your hiking shoes). Despite rain for 2/3 days of our trip, we always had something to do whether it be exploring Gloucester, playing some board games which were provided, taking a walk to the river or having an afternoon bath on the deck. This property was immaculate and incredibly relaxing—an ideal retreat from the busyness of city or town life. The bedrooms were spacious, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The home is thoughtfully equipped with modern tech touches, including TVs and convenient charging stations. Communication from the hosts was excellent throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed getaway.
