House vacation rentals in Beeston

We had a lovely time staying at the Old Angel with a large group of women. The sheer number of bathrooms was super handy with the large group number, and the living and dining spaces were super functional for a group of our size. There is a one half freezer and a large fridge, which Nicola had left some treats in which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms were well organised and very clean, with towels provided. There’s a village shop right next door, and a pub 20 meters away which was glorious in the May sunshine. Nicola and her team were very helpful in response to any questions/feedback we we had - overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Wonderful location, the kids loved having a pool and playground (or 2 if you count the pub playground) at their doorstep. The views were lovely too. Also a testament to the layout was how easily pur kids ended up making friends with other kids there over such a short period. The only 2 things I would change - beds were too hard for me (but that is personal preference) and the showers weren't the best - though showers in the pool area were perfect. Clearly not something that would change my 5 star rating. A couple of other points - being so close to Carsington Water (1 minute drive) was superb. Ashbourne and Matlock also close and lovely locations - very much enjoyed our little excursions there and to The Heights of Abraham. Thanks, a lovely stay.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

It was lovely inside and out and spotless there was 11 of us staying aged from 45-11 and not one of us had any faults they all thought it was great the only thing that the teenagers complained about was the pool closed at 6:30 and we had only gotten back from Alton towers at 6pm so maybe keeping it open a little bit later would benefit the younger crowd.

Perfect location for our little family. I wish we booked a larger space because there were more options if we didn’t book so last minute. Beautiful location and grounds. Nice facility’s for our toddler and run around and play…and an excuse for me to do the same!

We had a great stay at knockerdown. We loved the pool and the play park was perfect for the children to play while I got dinner done. Overall it was a lovely environment and so close to local amenities. I am looking forward to staying again soon.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated barn house in Melbourne. As a family of four, it was perfect—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and so peaceful. We all slept soundly in the cosy beds and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Eve had left some lovely surprises for us, and our children were delighted to relax in the garden with biscuits and squash after the journey. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine out there too—it was the perfect start to our stay. There was plenty to keep everyone happy, from books and DVDs to a great TV setup, and we made full use of the spacious kitchen for family meals. The location is brilliant too—within walking distance of several pubs and cafes. We had a lovely dinner at Harpurs and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Birds Bakery. The property felt very private and secure, and Eve was a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and responsive. Thank you, Eve, for a perfect stay—we’ll definitely be back soon!

Beautiful modern clean double bedrooms, some with dressing area and en-suite bathrooms. Nice large kitchen/diner with everything you need for guest's getogether and private garden area to relax.

Our stay at Sunshine Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautiful, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making it pretty, comfortable, and full of everything you need for a fantastic stay. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Wirksworth and surrounding areas are incredibly charming, offering plenty to explore and enjoy. A very pleasant stay. Convenient location for our needs, great off street parking (if a bit tight for a wide car at the entrance). Everything worked well.

We stayed at Marie’s place as a family of three for the National Schools Regatta. We wanted somewhere close to Holme Pierrepont where we could have our own space to prepare and unwind. Marie’s house fit the bill perfectly. It had everything we needed and she was an extremely proactive host, both before and during our stay. We’d definitely recommend the place to anybody needing to stay locally, especially for the National Watersports Centre (20 minutes away). We will certainly be back again in the future!

We only needed the place for one night and left early morning. The house was lovely though and exactly what we needed. Lovely outdoor space, comfy beds and all clean. All in all a great experience

This house was great for our family of four plus 2 grandparents and a dog, it had everything we needed, we could park the two cars right outside, and it was very quiet. There was a nice park to walk the dog a few minutes walk away. James was a responsive and friendly host. I thought it was good value for money.

Allan was very helpful when we booked the house. He responded very quickly to any initial questions we had. The house is in a great location, very peaceful and a good setting. Everything was as described, check in was easy, instructions were clear. Allan remained available for any questions that we had after we had checked in. Highly recommended.

The property met our requirements which was within walking distance to my daughter's. A very comfortable property with the space that we needed. Alison was a great host and would certainly stay here again.

We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

Martyn’s place was very clean and tidy. It is a drive into the city centre where there is lots to do. There’s little around the house itself in terms of things to do but it’s on a quiet housing estate and walking distance to some supermarkets for supplies. The beds are comfortable and the shower was lovely.

This is a great property and easy to find. We have a small dog and the back courtyard area is secure and big enough so she could stretch her legs and sniff around. We completely relaxed here, for a number of reasons. Firstly it feels complete safe, it’s a gated property and away from the road, so nice and quiet and no traffic noise. Secondly we slept great as the beds were prefect for us, king size and comfortable. The bedroom spaces had plenty of room and storage. Thirdly the large bathroom was a luxury, fantastic big shower which was easy to control and plenty of towels. And finally the pool table, we had a good few games of killer, and had such a great laugh, great entertaining space. So much so we didn’t watch the TV and we would end up chatting round the dining table. We would definitely stay again and walked away with great memories.

This was our third stay with Justin since April. I think that says it all. :-) During this visit, we were invited to select veggies from the ample garden to dine on. We enjoyed the fresh green beans. Please see our previous reviews for more details. Justin and is family went the extra mile to accommodate us and we really appreciate their kindness.

Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, place was spotless with a huge warm bath! Peaceful location with plenty of parking, perfect. Jayne couldn’t have been any more helpful or responsive, a true example of how an AirBnB host should be.

Great stay. The noise detectors are a bit distracting and off putting of a relaxing vibe but can understand why it’s needed. We are not very adverse to hot tubs and found the instructions lacking a little and couldn’t get it working as well as we like but feel like that’s us. Otherwise great location and host is very response, would stay again.
