Jennie greeted us and let us into her wonderful property, showing us the best places to take walks and visit in the area. An extremly lovely house to come back to after long walks or day trips out and even had the perfect weather to enjoy the hot tub. It was just two of us staying in the property so more than enough room for anyone with a party of 4 looking to book somewhere - a positive and amazing first Air BnB experience, highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

The most beautiful place, the home was even better than we ever imagined, plenty of space, lovely views and walking trails. Most definitely would book again.

Gorgeous stay - exceeded expectations! It looked lovely on the pictures but they don’t do it justice - it was beautiful. My friends and I never get to see each other so we arranged a stay, centrally in the country for everyone. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

Amazing stay, yet again. Second time coming and already planning the third. Amazing house and staff. The animals are such an amazing bonus which all kids loved. Vic was amazing with the egg collecting and the feeding of animals. The house was super clean and along with all the facilities they had to offer. Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.

Such a cosy place to stay, we really enjoyed it. Super comfy beds, and cosy throws and cushions in the lounge. Black out and privacy blinds in bedrooms, lots of lovely little touches Super clean Lovely private hot tub. Would def recommend Thanks for the Prosecco and Cake and the Birthday banner!

Sarah was a wonderful host, really unique and special space to stay. We were a small wedding hen party celebration, and it was perfect for hosting and making various cocktails / food on the fires. Loved the fires by the yurt and the outdoor kitchen too. The hot tub got quite hot quickly but I think it’s part of the charm to get the fire perfect and honestly was quite fun to try it out! Definitely a great idea to have private bathrooms, as it made the experience more comfortable. Sarah was very friendly and helpful on arrival, flexible with us and overall it was an amazing stay I’d recommend for friends or family and I’d love to come back myself.

6 families met together here for 6 days and we found The Grange to be a good size for us. There’s an enclosed garden big enough for 5 children and 2 dogs to play in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. There are plenty of places to visit with the children. All in all we had a lovely week.

Gorgeous place to stay. Views from every window. Expect family ducks, chickens and peacock to pay you a visit, and if you hear snoring, it’s probably the large pig outside the window!

Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

I had a fantastic stay at Wendy's place. it is set in a stunning location surrounded by open space and views of the hills from the garden. its has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with a beautiful log burner. This house is great for a trip to the peak district. I would very much recommend this property!

Loved the house and location. Turn right out of the back gates and it's a nice 10-15 minute stroll into the centre of town. Only two of us stayed but definitely big enough for 4 people. It felt like being home. Vicky the owner has a great collection of vinyl LP's and kindly allowed us to use her player. Highly recommended! Mike Wood

A lovely quiet location as a base to explore the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage is very cosy with everything you could want for your stay. Lots of walks right from the front door, including the Tissington Trail that takes you into Ashbourne, and a pub just minutes away on foot. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful place and very relaxing. Disappointed that there was no coffee machine as listed as we had purchased coffee pods, but not the end of the world. Will stay again when we visit the Peak District again.

We had a large group stay for 2 nights, and found that the communal spaces worked really well. We appreciated having enough space for people to sit and eat together, with a separate lounge area that was similarly big enough for everyone to comfortably gather. The beds were comfortable, and the flexibility of the layout was appreciated. We had a nice meal out that was only 10mins drive away, and enjoyed the nice walks in the area. Communication from the host was responsive. There is only one small parking space at the property but there was plenty of on-street parking within close proximity.

Booked this as a surprise family gift for my hubby’s 60th, a family weekend away with the grandkids, and it was amazing!! We had a fabulous time, the accommodation was lovely, exactly as described! Hubby was over the moon! The pool and games room was well used by us all and made it perfect as we all got to use it basically to ourselves! The house was lovely and exactly as described! We’ll definitely be going again!

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.
