Private suite vacation rentals in Bedford County

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

Matthew is a fabulous host who thinks of every detail. His Airbnb is cozy and meets every need. It includes a comfortable living area for great conversation, including a giant big screen tv for those who enjoy movies or sports, a large dining table that accommodates four very comfortably, a full kitchen, a desk for work or study space, and…a gym!!!! The neighborhood is quiet, pretty and great for walking. Stores, restaurants, and Poplar Forest are all 5 minutes away. This is a great place and Matthew is a kind and considerate host!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Very clean and beautiful place to stay.

We only stopped in for about 8 hours as a place to stay the night during our road trip, but it was a beautiful woodsy location and a very clean cute place inside!

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

John and Sharon were terrific hosts. They left a "Welcome" card with delicious muffins from a local bakery. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the lake and this location has the best views we have seen. The interior looks brand new and updated, tasteful decor, and very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed to cook dinner both nights we stayed. We were given access to the Tiki Bar where we sat in comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the lake. We sat with our coffee enjoying the cool morning, colorful Fall leaves and saw a mother and baby deer scamper across the backyard. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

This is a great place to stay. It is very close to Liberty University and easy to find. The parking is right beside the garage suite so very convenient. The self-check-in makes it simple. The bed is big and comfortable, and the couch is a nice bonus. There isn't a kitchen but there is a microwave, coffee maker and fridge which is all we need. We forgot plates and forks and Jennifer provided paper/plastic ones for us at the last minute. She is quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here each time we come back to visit our kids!

The rental was clean and cozy. Having some different spices and coffee available was a nice plus. The access to the lake was A1. Being able to access the lake with a kayak was a new and rewarding experience for me. Lynne was easy to reach thru the app but allowed my wife and I our space during our time there. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Lovely place to stay! Mary is so sweet and hospitable and the accommodations were just what the post described and perfect for my stay in Lynchburg.

Good host checking on us making sure everything was good. Have to say this Airbnb was one of the most interesting I've stayed at. If you love motorcycles and Harley Davidson you'll love this place. Like a mini memorabilia museum of stuff you can tell a lot of work and passion went into this. Good location for visiting Liberty University, plenty of restaurants right down the road.

The location was perfect for my visit to Liberty University. I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, comfortable, clean, and quiet home. Donna was the perfect host. She was very responsive and provided clear instructions. I appreciated the snacks she provided too.
