We wish we could have stayed longer, but a family emergency cut our visit short. She was incredibly gracious and kind, very responsive, and extremely proactive. The space was clean and well decorated - i felt right at home! The bed was comfortable with great plugs and side tables and a desk nearby - all I needed. We loved to sit on the balcony and relax overlooking the water. There was a WONDERFUL restaurant nearby, and the amenities were so relaxing. The hot tub was Hot and the shops were fun to walk around. There would have been plenty to do in that area if we could have stayed. We definitely want to come back!

Rhonda’s cabin was absolutely PERFECT! My husband and I had the most relaxing few days there. The cabin was so private, comfortable and cozy. We cooked breakfast and dinner on the blackstone, relaxed in the hot tub, watched movies on the couch and sat by the fire pit for hours. We ventured out a couple of times and ate at Liberty Station and Beale’s. Rhonda left us yummy homemade chocolate Bundt cakes on the counter for our arrival. She was very easy to communicate with, and so sweet! The most relaxing thing is that you can constantly hear the water running through the creek underneath the cabin! It puts you right to sleep! We felt miles away from reality, but she let us know that she was close by if we needed her. This cabin is definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Thank you, Rhonda for a very memorable weekend!! 🩷

We spent 3 very rainy days at Smith Mountain Lake, and Gwen's place was the highlight for our small gathering of 2 families (4 adults & 4 kids). In terms of space for sleeping, we had more than enough. The 5th bedroom came in handy for the lone teenager in our group, and rooms are spaced throughout the house in a way that allows you to arrange them in order by who is going to sleep first. Beyond that, we spent a lot of time at the place just relaxing. There's a great hot tub/spa that's more than big enough for 4 adults, and a huge, covered back porch off the kitchen that's great for hanging out, even in the rainy winter. Gwen has stocked the place with board games, air hockey and foosball, and there's a ping pong table in the lower porch area. Based on our stay this winter, we'd love to come back when the weather is nicer. The dock is perfect for swimming and getting the kayaks out in the water. Thanks again, Gwen!

We had a great time here over our Spring Break. There is so much to do there you don't need to leave!! We loved the dock and boats, and the younger kids in our group loved the floating play mat. When it was too windy to play outside we stayed busy with ping pong, movies and PacMan. The huge kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Stephanie was super helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! The quaint tiny home was quiet and secluded for me and my wife. The outdoor furniture and tables made for scenic views while we ate our meals and drank our morning coffee. Overall, it was a perfect getaway!

We felt right at home here! The home was clean and stocked with every we needed. Sofa and beds are comfy, and linens were fresh and clean! The home is updated, nicely decorated, and you can feel the thoughtfulness that went into every detail. Hot tub was a huge hit as well! We will definitely stay again!

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was on the beautiful lake. The screened in porch is a huge bonus. We had plenty of space for our bags and my son's toys. It was very kid friendly. I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Beautiful location! We truly enjoyed relaxing by the lake while we visited. The home had everything you need to take advantage of the amenities offered; lifejackets for the kayaks, basketball, skewers for roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, golf cart to get up and down from the lake, dog bowls, etc. We did not need a boat for our stay but it would be a great option to rent one and be out on the water. Crista sent info before hand to make arrangements with a local rental place. The hosts were very kind and communicated easily. Great place!

My family and I had such a great time at this comfy little condo! It was very comfortable and we had close access to a lot of amenities here (we tried kayaking and pickleball). It was next to plenty of golf fields as well (for those who love golf). The hostess was extremely responsive as well and helped us when we had difficultly getting into the condo. Highly recommend staying here if you want a cute little place to relax in with the benefits of multiple amenities!

We ate a couple of times at the golf club’s restaurant nearby (~10min away, good food) and ordered in from a local pizzeria for our last night at the lodge (Alessandro’s). Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! The house was super clean, organized and smelled great- it felt like home as soon as you walked in. We spent most of our time in the backyard, on the grill, in the hot tub and around the fire. The home is on a main road so if you're okay with that, this is absolutely a wonderful option! I went with my two young kids, and it was perfect for them as well. Additionally, Jesse was quick to respond with any questions I had. We will absolutely be staying here again if we ever return to the area!

Since our first conversation before I ever made a reservation with Angel, we have had excellent communication. She is so accommodating and welcoming. Their house is in a peaceful, charming neighborhood. Did I mention that she lives in a lovely home? The home is equipped with everything you would need during your stay. It is in fact really central too; we just had to travel for approximately ten to fifteen minutes to get somewhere we needed to go. Would heartily suggest Angel and their gorgeous property—a really practical place you can reserve with confidence that everything will go smoothly!

This was a beautiful cabin in the woods!! There was a great vintage feel with many modern amenities!! I loved the fresh eggs and my husband loved cooking on the vintage stove and grilling outside. We enjoyed the horseshoes and frisbee golf after a wonderful hike. We then soaked our aching muscles in the hot tub. We enjoyed eating outside on the porch next to a scenic view with a creek listening to the birds. We did not utilize the fire pit area but we do plan to go back. It is perfectly located nearby to some beautiful hikes and historic Roanoke!!
