Farmstay vacation rentals in Bedford County

This was the perfect relaxing location for our family over Spring Break. Convenient to Bedford and allowed us to easily visit nearby parks and historical areas. We loved seeing all the farms and animals nearby as well.

The house was great for our Christmas Holiday. There was enough space to allow us to spread out and yet still be connected. The bedrooms were well situated and allowed each of us to have a quiet night's sleep. Also had the right number of bathrooms for our group. I especially liked having the ability to sit around the indoor fireplace with a fire burning and a Christmas tree in the corner. The neighborhood was great for a stroll with the kids. All-in-all this was a great location for our family reunion and Beth was very responsive to all the questions we had before and during our trip.

We had 12 people stay in the house and we were all very comfortable. The kids loved the animals which was a short walk from the house. The house has so much character, it was interesting to see some of the history.

Was exactly what we were looking for and as advertised. A very friendly couple and comfortable stay.

Our stay was all we had hoped for. The location is back in the woods a bit, where it is peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is tastefully done and quite attractive. Sally was an excellent hostess and was responsive in all matters. She even went the extra mile by finding another place for us to stay after we made an error on our reservations. Sally was interesting to talk with and was warm and friendly at all times. All our expectations were met and even exceeded.

It was so wonderful, words can barely describe how serene this stay was. James was so kind, helpful, and quick with his responses. I’d definitely book with him again!

We were actually prepared for our stay to be a little more rustic, and we were pleasantly surprised at the well appointed updates and thoughtful renovations completed at this beautiful farmhouse. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept on, and we appreciated the modern farmhouse decor. The entire place was spotless and refreshing, and the surrounding area is quiet and naturally breathtaking. Best of all, we had such a wonderful time spending our morning with the friendly farm animals, from the first crow of the actual rooster alarm to the final bleats of our newfound goat friends. We’d love to return!

The home was beautiful and the amenities were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and spices. The home was very clean and very cozy. There is a neighboring town about 15 minutes away, so there were plenty of food and grocery options. It is a perfect remote get away.

WOW!!! Tim’s place is the best bnb I have stayed at in the area so far. It was clean, the animals were all super friendly, it was peaceful and the recently renovated house is modern and clean. I will definitely come back here to relax. The beds were also super comfortable and he was kind enough to have snacks and coffee there. Felt like home away from home and spaces are large and accommodating.

Our stay was wonderful! The quaint tiny home was quiet and secluded for me and my wife. The outdoor furniture and tables made for scenic views while we ate our meals and drank our morning coffee. Overall, it was a perfect getaway!

We had such a great time with the animals! Tim even let my son bottle feed one of the baby goats! The location was beautiful and easy to get to, super clean, quiet, and peaceful. They have good insulation in the rooms - I didn't even hear the roosters in the morning! Definitely recommended!

What a delightful place to stay! Time has created a relaxing environment to escape every day life and get back to the simpler life. The home is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well presented. How can you NOT love the baby animals??? The baby goats, along with all the other animals were a highlight of this stay. Sitting on the porch in the afternoon could not have been nicer. Thank you Tim for letting me stay in your beautiful home, I feel privileged to have had the opportunity!

We brought our 5yo daughter for an animal filled adventure… we spent the day at the Virginia Safari Park then headed to Tim’s place for the evening. The farm was an unforgettable experience. While the Safari park was cool, Tim’s farm took the cake! Tim was attentive and welcoming! His animals were well cared for and adored all of our attention. We spent hours in the goat pens playing and cuddling with the mama and baby goats, petting the donkeys and feeding the cow. We brought some snacks for the animals, Tim provides a list of their favorites, but snacks were available in the kitchen too! The room was spacious and extremely clean! We will be returning in the future!

I recently enjoyed a stay at this peaceful countryside farm cabin on the James River, which offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It was truly an unforgettable retreat. Elizabeth is a wonderful host! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and unwind in nature!

This home was very nice, and the private little beach was perfect for our little kids. Home was clean and we had a great time. Only thing I would want other guest to know is that if you plan on cooking your meals like we did, you want to bring a cutting board and peeling knife with you and maybe some mixing bowls and spices. We managed but I would have brought all that had I known. I would still highly recommend this home.

Our stay at Flower Farmhouse was awesome. We were a group of 60 year old high school before & beyond friends, 12 all together, and the house fit us perfectly. Totally relaxing vibe, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and baths to make you feel right at home. Separate enough to whine down alone, but close enough to have really quality time together. We ALL absolutely loved our stay! 💐🌺🌻🏡🌸🌷🌼

What a blast! This is the second time I've facilitated a group trip to Kristie's place for a weekend of pickleball, food, and laughter. I'm already planning the next one! The house and other buildings are well-equipped and well-kept and provided everything we needed to fully enjoy our time together, including a gorgeous view of the lake from the dining table we gathered around. Absolutely recommend.

This is our second stay at this beautiful Airbnb! It's beautifully landscaped, well decorated, and so peaceful. We also LOVE the cats outside that are so friendly and adorable. Hope to return again!

This place was perfect for our family stay. The home is super clean, brand new linens and very well taken care of. Sabrina was an awesome host, super responsive and friendly. We will be back!

W a gem! We loved everything about our stay. Best equipped kitchen we've ever stayed at (for an AirBNB), furniture and beds were all comfortable, but the best part was the outdoor seating and eating areas. We spent the majority of our time outside. We loved looking at the stars, watching the fireflies, and listening to the croak of the bullfrogs before we turned in at night.

The place was perfect! It is located within minutes of Bedford about 30 minutes from Lynchburg. We enjoyed the quiet space and the fews are beautiful. Be sure to capture the sunset! The house is spacious and has everything you need, and more, for an enjoyable stay.

if I could give 10 stars I would!!! Hosts were amazing, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome! Very child friendly home! The space was amazing and views were spectacular! My children that they freely run and play in the spacious yard! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here! We will definitely be back!!
