Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bedford County

Cody’s place was very peaceful and private. The river and mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for our trip. The screened in back porch was great as we spent most of our time out there. We didn’t have much luck fishing in the river but that was the only downfall of our trip. We would gladly stay here again!

I’m so glad I found this place. The level terrain was perfect for me, and the wide parking area. Everything was spotlessly clean, neat and organized. Also every amenity you could think of needing - even a lint brush and 2 different coffee machines to choose from! This rental had a TV, and a lot of Air B & B rentals in the Bedford area do not (huge plus). Finally, from a safety standpoint, as a woman traveling alone, I was very happy that the host was nearby (but I felt I had a lot of privacy at the location). I will definitely stay here again repeatedly when I come back to visit my son. Thank you very much!

This is the second year we’ve rented the round house for a golf outing, and it was just as perfect as the first time. The round house felt safe and welcoming, and the fire pit and grill were a huge hit. The house was clean and comfortable, and the view of the golf course was unmatched. The living room was spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The two bedrooms on the main level are private and cozy, and there is great closet space for such a small house. Though the main-level bathrooms are a bit small, the lower-level bathroom has a great shower. Tracy is a gracious, responsive host, and she makes the decision to return to the round house easy.

This is our second time staying. The house is just as it was the first time, very clean and comfortable. A very nice place in a quiet area. We would definitely stay again.

Deseree and Kelly were lovely hosts. The house was immaculate and extremely welcoming. The kitchen was so well appointed you could truly host a holiday gathering here and cook all the fixings without missing a beat. Of greatest note and sincere appreciation was the absolute thoughtfulness in pre-heating the jacuzzi. I must say this was so welcome after the long drive and dinner to find it only took 15 minutes to get it to its optimum temperature for a good soak before bed. Thank you so much for kindness. We will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Always worth booking this home. This home has everything that you need to entertain family, friends or just relax and enjoy the mountain views. Best home in the Martinsburg PA area.

The pictures do a dis-service to this home. It is larger than I expected, very well thought-out with some unexpected extras, and the bedrooms are adorable, especially the yellow bedroom. I would definitely stay there again.

I needed R&R, and that’s definitely what I got! It was a wonderful place for kids, adults, and seniors alike. Her games were so much fun, and the location was ideal. So grateful for the Shoops sharing their home.

April place was a small and cozy place within a short drive to the ski slopes. Just what we were looking for. She was also extremely responsive and nice as we first had a hard time finding the right unit.

This condo is really cute and has great natural light. We stayed as a family of four with our dogs so it was a bit crammed but if you're skiing all day, it's all you need! It's nice the place is well stocked with the basics so you don't have to worry about bringing those.

She has been great to communicate with! Very great all around.

I loved Jacindas little apartment. I loved the little sleeping nook. Plenty of towels, everything I could ever need to cook with. Plenty of heat. The first couple of mornings were quite chilly on the mountsin. My dog seemed very comfortable there as well. I highly recommend a stsy at Jacinda's place on Blue Knob.

If you are looking for a quiet, private and peaceful get away with all the amenities, this is it. The cabin is literally in the middle of nowhere, all alone on a mountainside, but has everything you need. The views feom the deck and hot tub are beautiful. Two pieces of advice - 1. Plan ahead and bring food, drinks, etc...that you will need, because stores of any kind are quite a drive. 2. Slow and steady is the best way up the driveway, which is gravel and slightly steep in areas. We loved our weekend away from the world at the Red Cabin and would definitely return or recomend to friends.

We love Jamie’s home! It’s our second year in a row staying there for a reunion weekend with another family, and it’s a perfect spot for getting together. We’ll be back!

I stayed there for 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. We loved it, the place is great to get calm and unwind. Loved the outdoors, there are hiking trails you can explore. Kids loved the swings. The house itself is a true rustic as it should be. Huge fireplace inside. The doors and windows all have bug screens. There are also board games you can play. What really added to the right mood was the old vinyl record player! Would definitely stay again!

Tylere was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and addressed all of our concerns in a very timely fashion. There was a lot of snow while we were there and he had the driveway cleared twice so we were able to get out. Thanks!

My friend and I had a great stay at Crystal’s cabin! She was very flexible and helped us shift our reservations twice. The cabin is tucked away off of a busy road but it’s so far back it feels entirely secluded. There are trails behind the house but it’s good to note that it is gaming land so be prepared if it’s hunting season or dress appropriately. Overall we loved our stay and hope to return next year!

This was our second stay at the Peaceful Cabin in the Woods and we loved it as much as our first stay. It’s such and nice quiet area where we could just relax and enjoy each others company while sitting out listening to the hum of crickets! I would definitely recommend this stay!
