House vacation rentals in Bedford County

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We spent a long Easter weekend there with our children and grandchildren and had the best time. The location was close to town but felt so peaceful and serene. We could enjoy the breathtaking view from the back of the property while relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit while still keeping an eye on the children playing on the swings and slides. The house was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone and was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. There were many thoughtful details throughout. The home is set up with children in mind both inside and out. The owners were wonderful to deal with and provided excellent communication including suggestions on things to see and do. Bedford is an adorable town with cute shops, good food, and lots to explore locally. We will be back to stay again!

We had a unforgettable weekend at Kathryn's home with good friends! The pool, the barn, the privacy and the surroundings were spectacular! I already recommended the home to mu family because it does feel like home 🏡

The home was perfect for getting cozy and spending quality time together, while still providing each couple with privacy and space. This was a family trip for 15 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Loved the kitchen, it was well stocked with everything we could have needed. Loved sitting on the porch around the fire pit. The views are absolutely beautiful. So quiet and peaceful, had the best sleep of my life. Everyone wants to go again next year! Thanks Keith and Tanya for a lovely vacation space!

We had a wonderful girls weekend. The house is spacious with so much character. Great location for Shawnee State Park and Jean Bonnet Tavern. Ann was responsive to all questions. Gift Shop right next door a plus. Had a great time. I would recommend this house!

Amazing place to stay! Boat parking was a bonus. So close to the shy Beaver boat launch, which was very convenient. Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
