Vacation rentals with a kayak in Becker County

Very beautiful Cabin. Things that I appreciated: 1) 2 out of 4 bedrooms were on the other side of the house. With kids to me that means a lot as it gives them a more quite place to sleep. 2) each room had a sound machine 3) in the kitchen there was a charger for all sorts of electronics 4) to go containers for you to take home leftovers 5) sand pit 6) clear lake to swim in 7) AMAZING FISHING! 8) close to troll hunting! 9) every single size possible for life jackets. 10) if you love coffee, you will very much like all sorts of appliances Preston has ready for you! Great amount of towels, sheets, extra blankets, pillows, 2 extra mattresses and a very well stocked up kitchen. I cant think of any negatives and I am an Airbnb snob!

My family and I spent a week at this special island. My husband, our five year old twins and our two year old, along with our au pair enjoyed this immensely. We have stayed in AirBnbs all over the world and this little oasis in Northern Minnesota is certainly one that will stay in our hearts. The house is filled with all kinds of amenities for your stay including spices, pots and pans, crock pots, pitchers, and baking supplies. We couldn't believe everything that was available and it made it so wonderful because you do truly need to bring everything with you and if you forget something it's a big deal to head out and get it. The home carries a lot of history with it and we enjoyed learning about it. Definitely bring bug spray but they weren't as bad we expected. We rented the pontoon and loved the whole experience. I have never been so relaxed. One of the highlights of the property is the sauna. Equipt with a stove from Finland, it definitely felt like a true Scandinavian activity!

I appreciate the use of kayaks and the willingness to have our jet ski at this cabin. The water is extremely clear and it’s a beautiful view from the shore. We had a great family weekend at the cabin.

I booked this beautiful home for my managers who came to town for a work event. The home was perfect! We loved how nicely it was decorated and there were so many great spaces inside the home to hang out as a group. The added touch of board and arcade games in the space were a fun addition. We also enjoyed the views of the lake and river running through the property. I highly recommend this home for anyone coming to Detroit Lakes who wants to feel spoiled!

This home totally fulfilled our wishes for our girls’ weekend! We could not have asked for a nicer place in a beautiful winter setting and so close to Detroit Lakes and Mountain. Like the rest of the reviews state, it looked just like the pictures. It slept all of us very comfortably with great beds and bedding. The kitchen was amazing and supplied very well with utensils, dishes, silverware and small appliances. Beautiful dining/sunroom and open concept plan for our games and conversations. There were plenty of cleaning supplies and towels throughout the house. The host was very prompt in responses. Overall, wonderful accommodation and we would certainly rent again!

Access to the beach (yes beach) and beautiful, clear lake were unsurpassed. Boat was in great condition. Our favorite parts were the great decks, deck furniture, dock for kids to fish and all the toys in the storage area!

This was such a cute house to stay in for the weekend. It’s walkable to 3 different bars/restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. The house is decorated super cute. Will definitely stay again!

My friend and I surprised our partners with a weekend getaway for their twin birthday and this was the perfect place. Cozy, but plenty of room. Beautiful outdoors with a perfect view of the sunset over the lake at the bonfire. None of us have children, but noticed that It’s really kid-friendly without feeling like a house full of kiddos. Tammy is friendly and responsive, with the most clear instructions and home hints. We might just make this a tradition…! Thank you!

We had the best time celebrating our family Christmas here! Jennifer went above and beyond for us to make the space comfortable and inviting. She even went above and beyond and decorated and put up a Christmas tree just for us. The space was spotless and much more than we ever could have asked for. We are so very happy with our experience staying here! We will most definitely be back!

Words can not describe how incredible of a stay we had! It was a perfect weekend getaway, and only a short 4 hour drive from the cities. Very clean, very warm and cozy, loved the cabin decor and super spacious. We will definitely be back! The host was fantastic, with great communication and so friendly.

Beautiful little cabin on the lake with a good view. We had the perfect family vacation. Loved the screened porch to relax at night and listen to the water. Great bluegill fishing! Close to town & a little dive bar with excellent bar food for when we didn’t feel like cooking. Looking forward to visiting & booking again!

We had perfect weather, calm water, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast on the patio was a wonderful way to start the day, watching a couple of mergansers close to shore. The unit has everything we needed, and the reverse osmosis drinking water was really nice. The location is great for finding the Trolls by artist Thomas Dambo, enjoying lunch at Long Bridge Bar & Grill, or grabbing a pizza from Sunlite Bar & Grill.

The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked for any kind of meal at a cabin. The fire pit was nice and fun. If we had been in the summer, this place would have been hard to beat. As we came in the fall, the amenities were done for the season. Kellie was very nice and responsive. They had the lights on for us. The beds were amazing with great bedding. I was really impressed and grateful.

Denise is an excellent hostess and is very laid back and accommodating. We plan on staying here again next time we are in the area.
