My husband and I spent a Wednesday thru Sunday long weekend at the cabin, and we would easily do it again! So many thoughtful touches and features by the owners make this a very enjoyable place to stay. I don't know how the AirBnB folks do it, because everyone's "triggers" are different for what makes it special and for us, it was a winner. The major things were an overall vibe that casual and comfortable and a host that communicated very well and addressed any needs. A small sampling of other things that created joy were a welcome basket of s'more fixings, tasteful decorations, an incredibly warm throw to cuddle on the couch with, dog dishes and TREATS (!) for our dogs, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, great chairs for sitting on deck, a wonderful beach/dock area for kids/dogs, ability to BBQ and have a great outdoor meal. Also, would highly recommend the Troll search. Very unique and fun! Visiting Walker MN and Itasca State Park with the fall colors was wonderful as well!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cozy house surrounded by spectacular view. This place was spacious than we expected with loads of amenities & even sauna. Our entire group had such a relaxing easter weekend. We were visting Itasca State Park, although most places were not opened yet & weather didnt support us, we still managed to hike & make the most. Eric was very accomodating with our situation for which we are truly grateful. Will definitely recommend to family & friends.

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

A dining area features a large table surrounded by white chairs, set for a meal with plates and utensils. Large windows provide a view of Lake Sallie and the outdoor deck, allowing ample natural light into the space.

The place was beautiful, it felt open and cozy at the same time. We really appreciated how family friendly the place is, our little one loved playing with the toys. Although Detroit Lakes is a popular summer destination, we had an awesome time this winter - the ski resort is great and there’s also cross country ski trails and snowshoeing.

Angie is fantastic hostess! She works hard to make it so good for her guests. Everytime I go there, she has added a new touch, (big n little). This year- new deck, motion lites in & outside outhouse, beautiful blooming flowers, and the best?-- peaceful little fountain. Sit quietly n the squirrels n birds will come drink from it. Don't pass this place up just cuz it says outhouse.. it is not like days of old or disgusting porta potty.. it is vented, clean, pretty decor, big enough for 3 people to change out of wet swimsuits, & has a window to look out if ya do have to spend some time in there lol. Try this place out, it is wonderful!!! Angie has a heart of gold, I just can't thank her enough for allowing us to enjoy her private peace of heaven.

This is very nice place for some time with family. We met with family and had a nice time, enjoying very good accommodations. The host was available for quick questions, which is a huge thing to us when using an air b n b. Rooms were.private and comfy and the upstairs main bathroom has been updated.very nicely.

Extremely happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend Teri's place to stay. Our group was six men with 3 trucks and boats. Plenty of room to park and charge boat batteries at the end of the day. All the bedrooms were large and very clean as was the entire house. Overall experience was A+++.

It had everything we needed and more, and I wish we had more time there! I would go back any time. Erich and Cari were highly communicative and left helpful instructions and recommendations. What a beautiful house! Spotless, comfy, wonderful. Jason is the man, best host, caring, thoughtful, so so chill and oh sooo much fun. We met his beautiful wife and friends, they were all so lovely, it felt like home. He showed us around the area and we had such an amazing day on the boat and jet skiing! Best weekend I ever had! 😝 Outstanding, would go back in a heart beat

The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked for any kind of meal at a cabin. The fire pit was nice and fun. If we had been in the summer, this place would have been hard to beat. As we came in the fall, the amenities were done for the season. Kellie was very nice and responsive. They had the lights on for us. The beds were amazing with great bedding. I was really impressed and grateful.

The outdoor space here is just beautiful and I wish we had more time to enjoy it! There are plenty of seating options to choose from for viewing the lake and the beautiful surroundings. The house is tidy and clean and the beds were very comfortable! Just love the autumn colors on the maples this time of year and we will definitely visit this location in the Fall again.

We had perfect weather, calm water, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast on the patio was a wonderful way to start the day, watching a couple of mergansers close to shore. The unit has everything we needed, and the reverse osmosis drinking water was really nice. The location is great for finding the Trolls by artist Thomas Dambo, enjoying lunch at Long Bridge Bar & Grill, or grabbing a pizza from Sunlite Bar & Grill.

This home totally fulfilled our wishes for our girls’ weekend! We could not have asked for a nicer place in a beautiful winter setting and so close to Detroit Lakes and Mountain. Like the rest of the reviews state, it looked just like the pictures. It slept all of us very comfortably with great beds and bedding. The kitchen was amazing and supplied very well with utensils, dishes, silverware and small appliances. Beautiful dining/sunroom and open concept plan for our games and conversations. There were plenty of cleaning supplies and towels throughout the house. The host was very prompt in responses. Overall, wonderful accommodation and we would certainly rent again!

My friend and I surprised our partners with a weekend getaway for their twin birthday and this was the perfect place. Cozy, but plenty of room. Beautiful outdoors with a perfect view of the sunset over the lake at the bonfire. None of us have children, but noticed that It’s really kid-friendly without feeling like a house full of kiddos. Tammy is friendly and responsive, with the most clear instructions and home hints. We might just make this a tradition…! Thank you!

This was a great house to stay at. On a beautiful lake. Very peaceful. Everything you needed was available and in easy to find spots in the house. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. Wouldn’t hesitate for one second!
