We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! We LOVED staying at the Silo House! The master bath was incredible. It was all so cozy and inviting, had everything we needed. Only thing to note- the two twin beds were downstairs, my kids were fine either way it but adults may not be!

This was such a great stay! We had a beautiful view of the lake from the hot tub and the upstairs living room. My family and I (total of 7) stayed comfortably. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The house is beautifully remodeled. Walking distance to restaurants and breweries and had a park for kids right across the street. Definitely highly recommend.

Such a neat little old house with a lot of character and charm! Easy check-in and private driveway too! Comfortable beds and furniture, with neat little areas to hang out and relax inside and out. All the stuff you need in the kitchen. We loved how close it is to the downtown. Don't need the car if you are only there to explore the Church St Market, other areas around town, and even if you want to walk down to the lake. Meghan was super quick and enthusiastic about helping out with any questions we had about the area and the house long before we even visited. We didn't even need to bug her with anything while we were there :) Would definitely stay there again!

We so enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse! It is a beautiful property, so serene and a real place to escape from busy life! The view to Lake Champlain is amazing, with beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Beach / water access couldn't be beat. The interior of the home is lovely and well decorated, very comfortable and stunning architecture. Even though this home is pretty remote, the internet proved to be strong. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, burning fires in the fire pit, and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Hosts were great and provided very detailed information about the home!

My husband and I and my son and girlfriend went up to visit my daughter and her fiance who just relocated to Colchester Vt. Vernon's home was exactly as described! The home was very comfortable and clean and very conveniently located for us. We all walked to Church St and had a great time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Burlington. We would definitely rent again.

Great For Large Groups with Hot Tub

Location was amazing. It was more than enough space for our crew of 10 and 3 levels of living space and made you feel like you were in a separate house. Its a super fun house for families that like to play games and enjoy time together. We never felt the need to leave the house to go out to a bar or restaurant. And although it was fully disclosed that it is a shared space, it was still a little weird to have people in other units that were attached and hearing them do their laundry right on the other side of your bedroom door.

We were visiting friends nearby. And had a good stay. The place was clean, quiet and as advertised. The bathroom mirror is cool. Beds are great though I would suggest firmer pillows. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay, this trip far exceeded our expectations and staying in such a nice place made everything so much more enjoyable. This spot was the perfect mix of private and secluded while still also being very close to Stowe, and Johnson. We were able to complete everything on our itinerary while also being able to come back every night to a beautiful home with everything we needed. It was very nice to be able to sit down with family we havent seen in so long and enjoy an amazing home cooked meal or play some board games. Thank you Kristin for your amazing hospitality. This has made Vermont one our favorite states to visit. We will definitely be back.

We were a big group, the view in front of the lake was so nice! There is too much snow to be able to walk on the lake, the place looks like in the picture, however the bedrooms in the picture look bigger than the actual size. Everything is clean. The Dorwin park is just 7 minutes drive and have a walk there, very nice. I found the mattress a bit soft. Renato was very responsive and great host!

We had a great stay here. The house was quaint and exactly as pictured. We asked for recommendations but didn’t receive a response. However, Sam was super responsive for all other things house related like check in time and when the shower pump was broken and only giving us cold water. The hot water issue was taken care of right away which was appreciated! The backyard is big and fenced in. This is great for dogs! There is a grill and fire pit. We didn’t use either but having that amenity was nice. Location is great and so was the price. Walking distance and car ride from most eateries and cute shops. We felt safe, thank you!

It is a beautiful house where you can smell the family and we liked that a lot. It is close to the ski slopes, very clean and comfortable. Lidsa and Tom have very good communication, excellent service.

Kim was super kind and went above and beyond to help me sort out a situation even before our arrival. The home is located in a quiet beautiful area, it is super comfortable, beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of towels and linens. My kids enjoyed playing games in the basement, and my husband and I enjoyed watching TV and reading by the fireplace. I highly recommend Kim's place.

This place was perfect for our large group. To start plenty of parking in the drive way. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to not feel on top of eachother. The hot tub was great after a few long days of skiing. Lastly if you’re looking for a place close to the mountain it doesnt get much more convenient than this location. On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. My group and I enjoyed staying a few nights at Karen’s place. Great location in terms of being close to the town center and Stowe Ski Resort. For such close proximity to attractions, my group thought Karen’s place was a great value compared to some of the other listings in the area. It also felt private and had a very nice view. We enjoyed warming up by the gas fireplace after a long day of skiing.
