We really enjoyed our weekend in this atypical house, full of charm as well as the availability and kindness of Francis who welcomed us for the key handover.

We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a great time at Christophe's place. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location to visit the castles of the Loire and the amenities (especially those for our baby as if we were at home and the hot tub that allowed us to rest well)! We recommend it without hesitation!

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make beautiful visits nearby: Chambord, the castle of Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bikes,… With our 3-year-old child, it was an excellent destination.

Morgane and François are great hosts: kind, responsive, welcoming and discreet. My husband and I had a great time. Just returned from a short stay at a truly unique and historic manor house tucked in the French countryside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like stepping back in time. The host has beautifully preserved the original interiors—complete with antique furnishings and fabric-covered walls—giving the home so much character and charm. The kitchen, however, is thoughtfully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook wonderful meals while soaking in the beauty of the setting. We wish we had more time to simply relax and take it all in!

Beautiful country accommodation close to Vendôme, Amboise and Blois. The highlight of the accommodation is the large spaces, perfect for accommodating a large family. The kitchen is one of the largest and best equipped I've had on Airbnb. The outdoor space is very beautiful, with barbecue, pond and outdoor furniture. The bedding could be improved (a little soft for our taste). The stairs to access the 1st floor also because the steps are very narrow and therefore not suitable for young children.

We had a great time with friends, the cottage offers a lot of activity, perfect for a relaxing weekend in the middle of nature.

Genevieve welcomes with the heart and her home is in her image! The garden is also very pleasant, you can have your meals there with peace of mind. There is room to park the car. Nearby shops (grocery store, bakeries, butcher, post office, cafe) and 2 restaurants, are within walking distance by a pretty path bordering the Cisse at the bottom of the grounds. Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire is less than 15 minutes away and Grand Chambord's natural swimming is less than 30 minutes away!

Visiting Sologne for a wedding, we were welcomed like royalty by Emmanuel, who is a really nice and friendly person. He takes care of his guests, and with a lot of heart it shows. The accommodation was very pleasant, and in a very friendly setting. The fenced garden was perfect... and the cherry tree a little bonus! 😅😁 We received recommendations for walks from the cottage with our dog and it was a real pleasure. In short, we now know a safe address, if we return to Sologne. Thank you for everything 👍

Great stay under the sun. The pool and large outdoor table are great. The kids had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many tours and walks to do nearby.

Quality stay between idleness, quiet and good atmosphere. Corinne and Paulo made us feel at home, a sunny welcome and sharing of common areas as if we were old friends. The setting and the house are beautiful. Recommended!

Excellent stay at Frédéric's spacious and peaceful place! Convenient location and easy to find, parking is specially provided. Childcare equipment is also available and there are some games in the garden. Happy hosting your family.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

Great cottage ideal for a stay with family or friends. Completely compliant with the description and photos. From the swimming pool to petanque, many activities are offered for fun (table tennis, arcade machine, foosball, etc.) Thanks to Batiste for hosting us and for being available. A paradise! Wonderful terrace on the edge of the forest, where we ate meals. A beautiful well-maintained pool invited you to swim. Jasmine scent and flowering perennials as well as a vegetable garden are on the premises. Evelyn and Pierre were warm and always approachable hosts. Horses, dogs and chickens keep company on the old roses over sown property. Would love to come again.

It's a really peaceful house where you can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, books, games, a stove to warm up. The decor is cute . The pool is well heated and large. The garden is beautiful!! Very well maintained and there is an enchanted atmosphere with animals and water points. Our kids loved the little barge and my son is more than delighted to have been able to fish. Thank you for hosting us and for your kindness. We want to come back next time.
