The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage on Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beach at Hunting Island State Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Kathy’s loft. The marsh views were beautiful, the place was very clean, and the included golf cart was a big perk as that is how most folks get around on the island. Kathy was very helpful leading up to the stay making sure that we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time at Fripp.

I will echo the sentiments of other reviewers who talk about the location of Tiffany’s condo and the accommodations. The condo is just as the photos suggest. It was clean, comfortable and the decor reflects the eye and sensibilities of an artist and interior designer. My husband and I couldn’t ask for more. We have stayed in many airbnbs over the years; Tiffany’s place is one of the best if not THE best. The sunrises were magnificent. The location is convenient to everything, but really you won’t want to leave, except for maybe croissants from the Paris Baguette, a short drive away. Whew! They were amazing. Overall, we had a terrific stay. Thank you, Tiffany! It was our great pleasure to stay at your condo.

The location was perfect. It was easy to get to and very close to the pool. The location was gorgeous and you could tell that everything was thoughtfully placed. What made it amazing was the thought gone into the “extra” items. For example Kim provided a beach wagon with chairs, toys and umbrella. That made traveling lighter. When we did have a question she was very responsive and friendly. We loved the privacy of the location and will absolutely book again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stephanie and Pavol’s house. The house is very pretty, well organized, well equipped and wonderfully decorated. It is as cozy and comfortable as it is beautiful. We ate out a bit but also cooked a couple of meals at the house and we found everything we needed, it is very well equipped. Communication with Stephanie and Pavol was very easy. They have proactively reached out to offer an earlier check in if we needed it, had a bottle of wine and snacks ready for us when we arrived. They also shared recommendations and went above and beyond to help us recover a bag we forgot there. The area is stunning and has a lot to offer. We would love to come back.

We had an amazing time! Everything was clean, neat, and stocked with all the necessities! There were so many great restaurants close by, we enjoyed eating out. It was a very peaceful stay and we would definitely do it again! So thankful for our host Nanie! She was so great at communicating with us and helped us with any questions we had and was always quick to handle a situation.

What can I say, from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the sunroom and the back yard, everything was Immaculate peaceful restful and beautiful! What previous guests said about the sunrise was spot on it was most stunning! Katherine was always available for any questions we had. the only hard part was leaving! We wanted to stay longer!
