Rustic Retreat

RobertRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Rustric Retreat! The home was exactly as described — warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a rustic charm that made it feel like a true getaway. One of the highlights was how well stocked everything was. The kitchen had all the essentials (and then some), which made cooking meals super convenient. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and had plenty of linens, pillows, and extra blankets. You can tell the hosts really care about their guests — everything was spotless, and the small touches throughout the space made it feel welcoming and homey. It’s the kind of place where you can just show up, unpack, and relax. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. We’d love to come back!
The spacious sleeping area features a king bed dressed in soft yellow and white bedding. Natural light filters through large windows, framed by light drapes. A wooden nightstand houses a lamp, and a comfortable chair adds to the inviting atmosphere.

Cozy Boho Home in Neenah

CathyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Phillip was great right from the start when I first looked into staying in Neenah. The house is a quaint little 2 bedroom all refinished beautifully. The beds and linens are beyond comfortable, I've never stayed anywhere where I slept so well because of how cozy the bedding was! I'm going to miss the duvet and wish I knew where he purchased it so I could buy one for my home. The house was neat, and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality Phillip!

Couldn't have asked for a better location and excellent house. Everything was as good as promised and loved the ample amount of firewood for use. Perfect view of the river and extremely private peaceful setting. I would highly recommend this property and definitely planning on booking here again 😀

Charming 3-Bedroom Home

MaureenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a great gem of a stay right near downtown Amherst - we were in the area for a wedding and this was a perfect option for our family to all stay together. We easily walked both to the cute coffeeshop on Main Street and Central Waters Brewing - the house is located next to a few industrial shops/buildings but the location can't be beat. The house is beautifully updated with a great open concept - highlights include a kitchen great for cooking, high quality linens/blankets and pillows on the beds plus a clean and well equipped bathroom. There's a porch with grill in the back as well as one right off the kitchen - we sat and watched a rain storm but I can imagine nice summertime relaxing. Accommodating on all levels, highly recommend it!

This rustic cabin was simply amazing. The host Lupe was amazing she made us feel right at home. I would recommend this cabin to all of my friends, if you are looking for a cabin to get away and to detached from the busy day urban life this is the place
A spacious deck is illuminated by soft string lights, creating a serene evening ambiance. A cozy chair sits beside a table adorned with decorative items and a candle, offering a tranquil view of the surrounding trees and the lake in the distance.

Cozy Cabin near Everything!!!

AlayneRating, 5 stars59 months ago
We like to stay in Waupaca while my daughter, who has special needs, is at Wild West Campgroud for horse camp. This allows us to be near in case something were to happen. The cottage is fantastic. Very cute and recently updated. It had all the supplies we needed for cooking, including a charcoal grill on the top deck. There was also one below deck (along with a pizza smoker), but we didn't use that one. Towels and linens were provided. I would recommend to future guests that they bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, washcloths for the bathroom, and dish rags for the sink. I also recommend bringing lawn chairs. There is a beautiful yard that we didn't get to take advantage of because we didn't think to bring chairs. The view of the lake is very nice. The lake itself...not so much. You cannot swim in the lake. It's very shallow with a mucky bottom. We brought our kayaks and skillfully got them into the water. There isn't really a good spot to do this, but we're in shape, so we managed just fine. The lake is great for a peaceful kayak or canoe trip around. We saw a lot of wildlife -- deer. bunnies, frogs, geese...just to name a few. The cabin really is close to everything. We brought our bikes and used the Wau-King Trail to go to Clear Water Harbor Resort, and then biked back on the roads. We also biked downtown one day, and visited South Park beach, which is really nice. Again, you can get there using the Wau-King trail. We were close to everything and took advantage of all that Waupaca has to offer, including the chain o'lakes, the public swimming pier at Marl Lake, a kayak trip down the Crystal River (with Adventure Outfitters), and Hartman Creek State Park (the trails by bike, and swimming at the beach). We even through the bikes back on the car and took a trip down the Tomorrow River trail in Scandanavia -- a short 20 min ride away from the cabin. All in all, a fantastic vacation! Thank you, Abby!
