Our house is located in the middle of the Walgau between the cities of Feldkirch and Bludenz on a high plateau at 920m. The village of Gurtis is a popular starting point for mountain hikes, mountain biking and recreational walks through the forests. Changed bike path network from Lake Constance to Montafon. Excursions to neighboring Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Lake Constance and Lindau are always an experience. Within 15 km there is a climbing garden, adventure pool and swimming lakes.

With good snow conditions, small, romantic ski resorts such as Gurtis, Bazora, Tschardund are minutes away. The larger ski resort Brand is 20 minutes away. The beautiful Montafon, Laternsertal or Arlberg are 30-50 minutes away (depending on the ski resort). Numerous ski tours are possible in the area.
