Lovely location in a tree lined street. Modern stylish and quality furnishing and appliances and well equipped overall. Hepworth Gallery, The Arthouse and Yorkshire Sculpture Park all worth a visit. We felt very comfortable in this spacious light and modern apartment. Roof lights allow amazing views and spectacular sunsets. Also you feel like you are in amongst the trees being at the top of the building. The large entrance hall in the flat is a great place for Qi Gong and Yoga. There is a comfortable work area again with great views.

Amazing host! We have a lovely bank holiday weekend away with the family. Ropa left us everything we needed, from a travel cot to a variety of games to keep us occupied for our long weekend away. We would definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to return!

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. The cottage was warm & welcoming. John provided a generous welcome pack of goodies and was flexible and responsive to any questions. We really appreciated the beauty of the surrounding countryside and peaceful environment of the cottage. Despite it being a spring visit we enjoyed having the fire lit for us one evening. I have no hesitation to recommend Johns cottage.

Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

We had a fantastic time at Clover Cottage. The space was perfect for a short break, with the added luxury of a hot-tub. The host was responsive to our questions and provided a comprehensive ‘check-in’ walkthrough on arrival. Great location too for the peaks.

We just visited and had the most brilliant time, the Airbnb was a walk from the Lincoln Centre and upon arrival we were greeted by great hosts who gave us a tour of the property and a few excellent recommendations. The property was perfect for the two of us and squeaky clean! The hot tub was great and very easy to use, we even were able to order takeaway to the cottage despite its quiet and obscure location. The bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us was a perfect addition to the stay. For any cat lovers special mention for the two propriety cats who we absolutely adored! We would not hesitate to return one day in the future and will be sure to recommend to our friends and family for their own visits.
